We will watch Mahoromatic: Automatic Maiden (2001) on the next Saturday (18th), starting 18:00 UTC

It's about a troubled boy who lives alone unexpectedly meeting a meido andoroido girl who turns out to be battle-level powerful and wanting to spend the remaining of her limited lifespan with her. There's seemingly a secret organization and perhaps a secret past to the android too. With this much clue I have a guess where the power-on buttan for the robot is :nyaoo:

yeah super castlevania is easy compared to most of the series... which still means that it's pretty hard of course. I liked it but had to use savestates to enjoy it. especially because one of the later bosses is impossible to beat without taking damage (unless you're actually lucky), and he's a boss in the middle of a boss rush, too

I beat Silent Hill again last night and got teh good ending (first time I played without any guides :glare1:). Emulated it, so there were some minor issues with the animations being buggy (at least I think so, since never played it on original hardware). But I adapted to the rotating tank controls pretty quickly and it was a lot of fun. :biggrin: I finally understand the plot of the series now too.

Oh and here's a non-spoiler tip if anyone hasn't played SH1 yet, wants to, and wants a good ending without using a guide.

The first time I roleplayed as Harry Mason while playing, following the objectives as if I were in his shoes. This works great up until you get to the resort area. To get teh good ending you need to explore the resort area fully, even though logically you would be rushing to find you daughter... rather than searching every room as if you were playing a video game. :dark:
