HELLO HEYURI,

I am currently in the last days of my last year in high school (I am 18 y/o) and I am requesting some words of advice regarding my future employment. I know there is already a similar thread about the same subject on this board, but I do not know where else I can get any meaningful advice about my specific situation ┐(ﾟ～ﾟ)┌. While in high school I realized that I am a very solitary person (misanthrope perhaps?) and I hate being surrounded by other people most of the time. I get nothing but trouble from most people anyway and I discovered that I enjoy spending the majority of my time in front of a computer or doing other solitary activities.

Now, I suppose that imageboards (such as this one) are inhabited mostly by other like-minded solitary people that do not get any fulfillment from doing social activities either, so I request your advice! Perhaps an older heyurizen, with more experience in life or in the workforce, knows a niche solitary occupation that requires minimal human interaction (if so, what are the required skills and how do I obtain them?), such as online jobs or freelance photography (or something else). Or maybe you might know some way to generate passive income, which is fine by me as well, considering that I live in a developing country where the minimum wage is less than $500.

I am starting to get anxious about my future, since I do not have any sort of concrete plan drawn out. People around me are saying that their high school years were the best years of their lives, which is scary considering that I never really enjoyed school. Hopefully an older anon has life figured out and can lend me some piece of advice, since I don't know what to do after high school is over and I am not skilled enough to earn a living in any domain of work (my qualifications are making lame posts on obscure forums and occasionally masturbating multiple times per day (;´Д`)).

Once in ancient times a long bearded, white-hairded sage covered in wrinkles descended from his pure home country of Moon to the Earth. The sage disguised himself as a hungry beggar and began asking earthlings for food to test purity of their hearts.

Firstly the disguised sage turned to a monkey and asked it to be spared from starvation and death, to be fed food per custom. Monkey swiftly climbed tree and gathered fruit for him and presented them before him. He accepted and ate.

Secondly the disguised sage turned to a fox, the fox brought him a freshly catched fish from a stream. He accepted and ate.

Thirdly the disguised sage turned to a rabbit, the rabbit only could bring him grass for his meal, the rabbit laid the grass at his feet uncertain.

Rabbit ashamed of itself; looking at the useless grass thought deeply and decided... He got the beggar to build a bonfire promising to prepare food for him. Once flames were tall - the rabbit proclaimed "Men don't eat grass. Men eat meat". The rabbit let go of the grass from its mouth, and threw itself into the flames.

Beggar pulled the rabbit from fire. For its pure action of selflessness the beggar revealed his true nature as an immortal; a sage. He took the rabbit by its ears and rapidly dashed with him back to the realm of Moon where land is pure to match the virtuous rabbit.

The rabbit lives on, on the surface of the Moon, centuries and millennias later. Processing mochi full of medicine, of lunar herbs of immortality.

I like this story a lot.
