SPOILERS FOR DEVIL MAY CRY 5!!


Devil may cry 5 may have the best gameplay (i think dmc3 still holds up well in that regard though) but everything else is mediocre to bad
Niko appears out of nowhere, I think it's hinted that she's the daughter of the stuttering guy from dmc4 but making allies of our heroes appear out of nowhere at the start like that is something i really hate in all media, it's not surprising that I never cared about her
Lady and Trish became fucking useless, they never fight even in the "flashback" sections (maybe there's a dlc where you can fight with them?)
I hate the realistic approach they took with the graphics, look at dmc4, technically it looks dated AT WORST, but I would never say it looks bad, Dmc5 on the other hand looks so busy that sometimes it's distracting and that's not mentioning how everyone looks a fair bit uglier than in 3 and 4 (i think the heads are slightly more squared and dante just looks like a hobo), just look at any level, it's either city or BROW/BLACK ROOT EVERYWHERE, it reminded me of the "skin" of monsters in one of the new resident evil games, the one with ethan and his gf
They also completely ruined Dante's relationship with Vergil in my opinion. I never read the manga so the story of dmc was always very vague and dante's quarrel with vergil has always been something intriguing to me. After playing dmc3 i hypothesized that dante and vergil actually have brotherly love in them but started hating each other's guts due to something that happened in their past, maybe someone who tricked them, or just simply dante saw his brother seep deeper in evil while he was powerless to do anything, etc... in dmc5 they fight because they... "disagree on their very own nature"... But the fix to that is just nero getting in between and making vergil utter the most childish thing i've ever heard ("if i beat nero then i beat you right?")
I was massively disappointed by that

dmc1 was some kind of proto-resident evil and so it's very different from what the series became, the movements are a bit stiff too. I suggest you try dmc3 at least, it's the game that brought the franchise back from the almost dead

i never understood why CJU-GMP uses mostly wide bodies despite being the busiest flight path in the world. wouldnt it make more sense to use larger planes like the 787/a330 instead of 737/a320?

I remember reviving a dead torrent once. A small number of anime music videos, stuck with 0 seeds, something I downloaded over a year ago and kept the files. Got the .torrent file and pointed at the files, a day later the completed downloads counter incremented by 3. Yay.
