There are no light live music streaming clients because of DRM stupidity, any client is just downloading the file and then playing it. And anything that does this is just a fork of yt-dlp. So your best option is to just download all a playlist with yt-dlp and use one of the many mp3 music player GUI apps and make playlists and stuff within them.

Speaking of Linux frustrations, I had to switch to proprietary driver to pray game, but something went wrong during the installation and then the whole computer wouldn't boot, even in recovery mode. I had to press some buttons and boot into some kind of emergency terminal, where I would spend 3 hours typing in commands to fix it. :cry: I actually kind of had fun fixing it and felt a great sense of accomplishment afterward.
