I've been feeling pretty impotent lately, like I have no free will, like it doesn't matter how much I struggle, I am powerless to change anything. I went to sleep and dreamed I was Lucifer, who came to earth to wreak havoc. I was invincible, I didn't feel pain, I could fly and spit fire. I went to a resort (I always dream I'm on some kind of resort, what does Freud has to say about this?) where a couple of girls and their mother were swimming in a shallow pool, the ones made for children. I grabbed one of the girls, pushed her against the ground, restrained both her arms and raped her, right in front of her mother. In the lobby of the resort hotel there was a marble statue of Jesus, which I smashed into pieces. After that I flew to the bar, drank a beer, then set the whole place on fire.
I woke up, decided it was too early for me to go about my day on a saturday morning and went back to sleep. Then I dreamed I was a child again. I was in the beach, the waves were beating hard against my body. There was a big fair nearby. I was staying with a female childhood friend I never had. She had
various sisters, brothers, cousins and we all played together on the beach and on the seaside fair.
We were collecting scorpions on the beach. The scorpions could camouflage themselves as mushrooms and they were flying through the air like dandelions. We caught them in glass jars.
After spending the whole day on the beach, we went home and bathed together. We were relaxing drinking tea when her cousins showed up, and they were pissed. We had a fight, but even this was fun. Just the kind of childhood drama that doesn't mean anything, but makes you feel like a character in a soap opera.
I am 19 years old, I grew up in the social media society, I never had a proper childhood.

Doing open monitoring meditation helps with dream recall, as well as keeping a dream diary.
Here are simple instructions for open monitoring meditation:

Now to make sure the post is on topic, here's a dream I had recently. It's short though.

I saw the Azumanga Dayoh girls while a happy yet somewhat melancholic song played. They were happy and hopping on a little boat, and the sea was calm. I was watching from some place and started to cry and shriek uncontrollably out of pure nostalgia and desire to be young and back to school again, and this time spend more time having fun with my friends. It was a bitter envy and a yearning. I woke up breathing heavy, hoping to be crying and for someone to hear it and ask me why I was crying so that I could say all I wrote here. I guess these feelings are in my heart and with you guys now.

Did the teachers at your school let kids have sex during class or something? Almost every teacher at the american public school I went to was a cruel old fat bitch and all the other kids were into sports and other dumb normalfag shit and they treated me like garbage for being a fat weird nerd so I never had any friends. School was hell, I dropped out of middle school and I'd rather die than ever go back to a place like that.

As for dreams, I often dream that I'm in WoW or other video game worlds. Usually very different from the actual games in many ways, as if I'm playing non-existent full conversion mods/romhacks of those games.

I'm not an american, but I do feel you. My parents were to me what school was to you. My classmates and teachers were nice and treated me well, and then when I came home my family bullied me and sometimes did things to me that I dont wanna say and that I haven't told anyone in my life and that I'll likely die with.
At the time I sometimes wished I could just stay at school forever and never have to go home. I had fantasies in which some apocalyptic event happened and me and other kids started to live in school and I never had to see my family again ever. Different people have different lives.

I recently started using Kdenlive after Da Vinci Resolve kept causing my video's audio to stutter and I'm surprised at how nice Kdenlive is on Windows. The only time I've ever heard Kdenlive used is on Linux based systems so I was worried the Windows version would be shitty.
What video editor do you use?

i've used kdenlive to make all my funny videos
i wish there was a way to make template effects if that makes sense, for example i sometimes want a shaking effect on some items in the timeline and the only way i know to do it is animate a transform by slightly moving the item every other frame or so which can be a long process if the clip is long
who knows, maybe there is a way to make such templates but i dont know it (´～`)

I've been a longish term hikikomori, about 4 years if you take out a couple brief gaps, but recently under some very lucky rolls in life, I seem to have somewhat escaped it. I'm still a NEET and a bit of a shut in, but I'm living with some others, supported by them, occasionally go out and do things, talk to them a lot, and so on. But I'm having issues adjusting to a less hikikomori life, and have an overwhelming urge and pain to go back to it.

Can anyone else relate? Should I destroy what I've been given to return to the comforting struggle of hikikomori living? Or how does somebody adjust to this? depression

I watched 2 eps and I enjoyed it way more than i honestly thought i would. Teh comedy was spot on, teh animation was nice and smooth and it had some good action in between! That said, it really s very lolicious and is target for otakus in every aspect - but also for any fate fans, as there are a lot of reference to original source, with some minors spoilers. But i doubt it will be deal breaks. It does give me a hint for what ill happend in fate/stay night but i dont mind.

I would say there wouldnt be an issue - but you might to understand all aspects of teh story and element plot. I thought Illyda was damn cute in FATE VN and wanted more of her, so decided tto watch S2 of Prisma☆Illya even before finishing Fate. Go for it! She's cute! love
