i love the S.T.A.L.K.E.R trilogy! SoC still is one of my favorite games of all time to this day.

i've only really played Anomaly, disliked it at first and then played with a modpack that overhauls the game to look, sound and play like Shadow of Chernobyl (i really hated the graphics and gameplay of vanilla) and had a good time.
i honestly rather play the actual trilogy than these modpacks. i find it sad that most people nowadays know the IP only for them, and might never give the actual games a chance. or god forbid... buy the sequel.
