Why do anime clubs attract the worst kinds? In high school the one I went to watched the same mainstream shounen/shojoshit everyne already knew about and was house to the school's known turboautists. I went to one the other day as a grown-ass man and the club was just the same highschooler types but grown up. You had:
- the genuinely retarded girl who hasn't seen anything new in twenty years
- the collection of meek shounentards who can barely speak
- the young guy with shit taste
- the twenty-something who's obsessed with 2000's anime because FOMO and it's trendy
- the old dude who grew up on mecha and robotech but attends to try to pick up fat brown chicks
- the older millenials who are actually cool and barely want to be there

Talking to the twenty-something was funny. We were all talking about conventions and he says that he wants the "hare hare yukai" and "lucky star" dances to be popular again. I asked him "Didn't you get enough of that the first time around?" and the other guys laughed and agreed with me, but he started talking about how he got into anime too late and some other sad shit.

I honestly don't know why people still go to these things. The Internet is a much better place to find people that actually watch anime; if I want to find cool people IRL I'll go to a convention.

the twenty something guy you mention sounds like he's genuinely interested in the media but that he was too young to experience the golden age.
IMO it shouldn't be a requirement to be a millennial to be able to "actually watch anime". ┐(゚~゚)┌

Hi Heyuri

I just got drunk and fapped. The l-arginine I have been taking seems somewhat overrated. I want to be as objective as I can and the results I observe on my body are insufficient to rule it as the cause of changes without a doubt; they might be a placebo or only slightly improved. Note that if you are indeed a fapper - any performance counts! Okay. I feel like my dick does not go flat as quickly as usual and it rises faster after an orgasm, the strength the dick ejects sperm with seems to be slightly increased. Though as I say - I can't be fully confident.

The pills I took also contained B vitamins like 6 9 and 12, and an additional set had magnesium. I think (assuming it is not a placebo) that I feel more inclined to work. Specifically I got to actually learn linux properly and do adjustments that I wished to do but I never had patience to actually implement. Once again, I am not sure of how placebo-like the feeling is, or actual vitamin defficiency was fixed. Either way I did stuff I wanted to do. Moreover I feel an urge to fuck up some Minecraft server with full dominance and set up hosting for evading server restrictions; like safe doxxing on the main page, trading with money/crypto in the open, talking shit on admins, attempting to find exploits and hacking the server itself for free market money, a video and file hosting and a forum for everything above implemented straight into it. Jurisdiction would not matter if I hosted it throgh tor and I have some experience with tor hosting on my home machine. It would be so funny watching them getting lawsuits rejected for inability to determine even suspects. I also figured a way to do in-game items to forum credits banking which I already have coded into the forum script I use. ZOMG it would be so fun to dominate them. I also figured a way to set up my RAM memory like a hard drive in linux so that I can load my cheats all I want - I would plug in my pendrive with all cheats and load the game into the RAM, the entire game with cheats and then disconnect the pendrive so that they would not be able to prove shit with helpdesk or whatever they use nowadays and evade bans forever, at least polish servers have a general policy of actually checking your system for cheats instead of banning on mere suspicion, it used to be screen sharing but nowadays they mostly seem to do remote desktop.

Also I drank cheap alcohol. Vodka. I take one sip of cola, store it in my mouth, get a sip or two of vodka and swallow it fast, instantly after I swallow the load - I get an additional sip of cola to purge the taste of vodka. I barely feel anything at this point and my mind is in another galaxy as I am typing. Every sound, visual and even keyboard touch feels very personal and intimate and I am full of joy. I am aware of it, and for the sole reason of spreading psychological knowledge of alcohol intake influcence of mind - I will not look at the beginning of my post to check what I wanted to share - I will go on. I actually don't remember what I wanted to share in particular as I have been writing this essay for at least 15 minutes.

Everything feels joyous, the feeling that I do not know in my sober state. I can't smile, I can't hate. I am nothing and no soul. I only wish for common benefit of all sentient beings to mature into buddhahood. Alcohol is a genuine way to get close to that state, and I would guess that psychedelics would be fine if not better too!! Friends invited me for drinking at a pond on 31st of 09 of 2025. I own a spare 100ah battery. I closed my eyes for a bit to think about the word for battery, polish "akumulator" and I felt being embraced by the universe.

Also I want to note that if you feel like alcohol you take gets you nowhere and it acts slowly - rethink it with caution. If you want to get drunk in a way that your consciousness is very altered - let it brew in you for 10 minutes or so after taking it. I drank like 100ml of vodka slowly and got disappinted. So I quickly got another 250ml in the way I described above very fast to accelerate the effects. Contrary to what I expected despite being a vodka lover - I did not expect this much effect. I actually almost killed myself a few months back after taking like 200ml of 95% pure ethanol in one hit after kids on omegle claimed they are drinking wine and I shall drink with them. I warn you it is risky as fuck and I would not do it again. The taste will fade away quite fast, but your body will have to take it anyway, and digestion takes a long time unlike tasting. I only know from being replayed my recording of that evening that I was talking shit on my tech university for some 40 minutes (I was unconscious at that point and I don't remember it at all) then I fell to the floor, broke my shaded glasses and evaded eye damage for some divine reason, puked myself, pissed myself, mother lifted me to the bed, I pissed the bed, and the next thing I remember is waking up in my bed with knowledge that I got drunk bad, but with no memory of anything and with warm moist bed. I also pissed my bed. Heyurizens please don't drink yourself do death.

Besides, I can go around all I want unsupervised in a local castle of some 700 years. I will make a thread soon introducing heyuri to this nice place. I am in a state so bad right now that it is pointless for me to tamper with files. It has been around an hour I have been typing these things out. I think sharing my unfiltered, bare, savage thoughts is beneficial to the world for the sake of learning of thinking processess of people and genuine experience. I want to look perfect too, but the overriding value is truth, and this is truth. If you do some things as me - do not fear to do them as probably you are not alone. If you do not do things as me - you can learn from an unfiltered text of my behaviour. It is hard to study human behaviour without actual stories with no filters, I like studying human behaviour - but everyone seems to filter stuff. I do not wish to filter for common benefit of learning. I do not care about my reputation nowhere near as much as truth.

Bless heyuri, the only site where I am unfiltered. I like alcohol a lot. ZOMG!!!!!!

We can only wonder how many users silently left due to the mods catering to a handful of rule-breaking underage """""girls""""" (even giving them their own dead board)

Could this be why recent cytube attendance was at an all time low? Most people upset by these changes probably just packed up and left rather than complaining...

I've been messaging with a girl on Discord for the past few months. I've been sending her random lyrics and telling her I love her, and saying things like, "I love you. I miss you, baby," but she never replies (apparently she doesn't speak English). But she does respond with heart emojis. I've never experienced such a high level of interaction with a woman. I guess this is what it's like to have a girlfriend.

A new board? I just heard about it from the Furina thread on /b/!

Does anyone know a good model of sewing machine? I want to make a dress like in the attached pic, but hand sewing is so incredibly boring!!!

Based on what I looked up, Singer is garbage, Brother is ok, and Janome and Juki are very good but expensive. I'm looking for something as a starter-intermediate who'll probably do a sewing project once every few months. My budget is somewhere in the 200-300 USD range, and I don't think I can rely on second-hand sewing machines (even though a lot of forum posts say to do so).

Any ideas, /j/?

I'm back! Sorry for the long delay; I was busy with some other stuff =D.

Here's an initial 1/6 scale version of the dress design. I haven't setup the machine yet, since I thought for this one the fabric pieces might be too small for the machine and decided to hand sew it.

My findings and notes:

-I'm not sure what's going on with the sleeves. Near where they join to the torso, some bunching of the fabric occurs. Could be because of the angle? The sleeves meet the torso at 90 degrees, like a capital T.
-The central lace section seems to be good. The piece of fabric in the front needs to be longer than the one making up the back.
-Tried to design it in such a way where no stitches are visible externally. Made a special folded seam that encloses the raw edges of sleeves.
-Need to rework finishing raw edges of neckline and waistline. Special seam used in sleeves do not appear to work in these areas (tends to fold outward).
-Lower skirt has similar problem. Other than edge, seems functional. Fabric piece consists of semicircles, but actual sewing points form a 135 degree arc (creating 3/4 circle skirt instead of a full circle)
-Fabric drape lower than expected
-Need to line inside with softer fabric
-Unsure of whether to combine the two parts into a single dress, or leave as blouse+skirt combination.
-I have no idea how a sleeveless top stays up without elastics.

I'll probably do an updated design to fix these. Will try to set up the machine and see how it performs.

Any ideas on how to fix the problems listed in the notes /j/ =3?

ENCRYPTING MESSAGES
Hi Heyuri!

I got to talk about tech recently with people who did not get to experience technology and were completely trained into submission of companies. They do not know that anything that you can imagine and describe as maths - you can do on the computer, no exceptions.

People don't like being spied on. There is a solution to have messages even sent publically in a way that only people you mean to read can read them! You can post anything even through gmail, whatsapp, dicksword and related in a way that not even these companies can know the contents! The same thing can be done with files, and any transfer imaginable.

I present encryption.

It is easy. The only real additional twist of sending messages this way is pressing an encrypt/decrypt button on top of copy/paste (unless you completely automate it).

I use Kleopatra to manage my keys and messages, it has a graphical interface. Perfect for anyone. You can install a pack of tools including Kleopatra for Windows here.
https://gpg4win.org/about.html

5 minutes tutorial for any skill level on Kleopatra.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lAblt1Qt_ng

Consider watching that video to simply learn that encryption requires no brain and does wonders for whenever you need it!

You are not only able to obfuscate messages this way only for people who you mean to read them, you can also verify your identity. It is called a signature. Signature works everywhere, even offline because it is purely mathematical and maths does not require internet connection. Obviously it is your self-proclaimed identity (no regsitering anything, you can append Anonymous if you wish). You can generate a working key pair even offline that without fail will always work, you can verify and decrypt everything offline. You can also encrypt your message/file with a password if you don't want to attach keys.

You could technically even print out encrypted messages or even write them by hand in real life having never had any internet connection and they would still work. If you were so stubborn you could even use paper and calculator to get a key pair and write by hand the message, then do the reverse to read incoming messages. Extremely flexible!

If I understand correctly the maths behind it goes like this
You make a private key that you should never share, and you make a public key that you can give away all you want.
In most programs they make the 2 keys simultainously so you don't have to seek separate buttons. The other person does the same. So there are 4 keys involved in total.

Before sending encrypted messages you two need to exchange your public keys. So each person started with 2 of their own and gained an additional 1 public key. 3 out of 4 variables are sufficient for you or the other person to read messages as the equation would have one solution which is the original message. If you exchanged public keys in plain sight you can begin encrypting messages.

In contrast for example whatsapp and dicksword which would be a medium for this conversation would have only the two public keys you both shared. 2 out of 4 keys is insufficient to read these messages because mathematically there is an infinite set potential solutions to such equation of which only one works. You can even upload your passwords encrypted with it to pastebin if you want them to be accessible from any device, but only by you. They cannot do anything other than trying all possible combinations to forcefully read it, so the longer your key - the harder it is to break into it, for this reason you have different key lengths you can select during generation and I recommend the longest.

If they got your private key or the private key of the other person - they would have 3 and would solve it as well. But they don't unless you share it explicitly (like dropping the key itself into the chat which is a pancake-forehead idiocy), so they are not able to decrypt anything. You don't have to give the intended receiver some key prior to it in secret - everything is being done in plain sight of dicksword or telegram here and now, and they can't do anything about it. No exceptions. All they know is that you hid some message and they can guess its maximum length by how long your message was - but you can always add meaningless garbage or always set a length of the message to be artificially long like 16kb to fool them, they can never see the contents though.

You can encrypt your whole system too. Anything that can be stored on the computer - can be encrypted. People who sell and buy drugs from TOR have a standard procedure they do - client orders and gives the dealer their home address in an encrypted message - so that if the server gets raided - cops got two out of four keys, one short of decryption - and so the cops would not knock to the buyer's door. In contrast if the junkie gave their home address in plain text, and the police took over the server - they would read all messages and bully morons who did not care about security. Such keys is also the default way to identify yourself and build a reputation on the dark net because nobody can impersonate you across websites. Some drug markets will refuse to let your message through if their filters detect it is unencrypted.

So, has anyone seen this? Last episode aired yesterday.

For me, it's one of those few works which themes have penetrated my heart and message has infiltrated my mind. I think it's really sublime. Every episode has brought me to tears, I'll always carry this anime in my heart.

It's a short story, only 6 episodes long, about life's hardships and the power of empathy. It follows the alien Takopii, who has just landed on Earth, and its mission to spread happiness in the universe. He meets Shizuka, a sad little girl who is bullied at school. Takopii will try to make Shizuka smile, but he still has a lot to learn about humans.

The anime dives into the minds of 3 children who suffer from abuse/trauma and explores themes such as generational trauma, bullism and the effects that a negative environment has on a child's mind, the power of talking, understanding the other and lastly, resilience.

Not only it is a great story, but it's also a beautiful anime. Directing, illustrations, animation, soundtrack and voice acting are all top notch, it's a truly highest-quality adaptation. Speaking of voice acting, Shizuka's VA deserves a standing ovation, never before has a Japanese VA in anime managed to send shivers down my spine like she did.

In short, I think it's a masterpiece and you should watch it.

Great Recommendation, Anon~pi!

I just read the manga rather than watch the anime but I will try watching the anime next.
My thoughts in spoilers It's a sweeter story then I was expecting. I absolutely thought the happy space alien would simply fail over and over again and it would be some grim dark comedy. However as I read it seems the story did have a positive message to say after all. And it's a really good one. The three children's lives were never going to be solved with happy gadgets and nick-nacks but rather the most powerful gadget of all which is talking~pi! Talking allows two individuals to connect with each other and start to empathize. Which was never going to happen with the way the two girls interacted with each other.
It wasn't the space alien so much that solved their issue but it was both girls realizing that they needed someone (not a dog) to support them and surprisingly it was their enemy the whole time~pi!

That's what I meant when I said that it's about the power of empathy! Takopii never actually empathized with any of the kids until the last episode. He saw the world in black and white (Shizuka is bad, Marina is bad), and only thought about helping, without actually understanding the problems that Shizuka, Marina or Azuma were facing. Takopii represents innocence and naivety. At the start, he's as naive as Marina and Shizuka. But unlike them, he gets the chance to see other point of views, and he begins to truly understand their struggles.

Shizuka's monologue in the last episode is simply great. For the first time, she opens up and lets out her emotions, getting out of the fortress she built around her heart and making herself vulnerable. Takopii listens to her, understands her, and despite not having a magic gadget to fix everything (no such things exist! After all, magic isn't real) and not knowing what to do to help her, he's willing to be there for Shizuka and support her. By spending time with her, he realizes that talking and connecting with someone is the real magic. Azuma had the luck of having a good and kind brother, but Shizuka and Marina were truly alone with their horrible familiar problems. Takopii's simple act of empathy of being there for someone echoed through Marina's and Shizuka's minds, who also begin to see each other's point of view. At the end, they're walking together. Not necessarily because they became friends, but because they understand each other, because they empathize with each other and are willing to support each other.

Even if their situations are still horrible, at least they're not completely alone anymore, and that makes everything a lot easier

This is no doubt one of my favorite anime of all time.

No way! Shizuka is cuter

I haven't cried this much in a while T-T

it was okay. one dimensional adults being complete fuck ups take away from the takopi's realization of human's dual sided nature. fixing time device out of nowhere was weak as fuck. schizophrenia allowing the girls to not fight was also anticlimactic. really enjoyed the visuals.
