Most of the "villains" in fact did nothing wrong. They're usually in the right. Especially Chairman Rose. Pretty much most characters in SV are evil on some level, too. Especially the protagonist. She (probably) grapes Suguri/Kieran, steals away the Pokémon he wants, makes him go insane... it's actually pretty fucked.

amusingly, you can come across her husband in a side game-mode where you farm beans on an island. he has amnesia and is just enjoying life
