While out on a nightwalk, I checked out one of those free little libraries. There were some CDs in it. I saw a Kenny G album and was like "fuck yeah some sex music" and took it. But now I open it up to find that it's a mystery disc! :astonish:

I don't know what's on it yet. We're gonna find out together /b/! It could be nothing, it could be neat. I dunno!

and the scary demon loli crawled out of the disk drive and shoved her massive futa dong down wizard's throat, relentlessly fucking his windpipe until wizard died from a lack of oxygen....
>>
Oh shit I'm sorry. When I tried to post teh thread, it gave me an error. I didn't realize I made a thread. :sweat2: Nothing was on the disc, just some music. All mainstream but weirdly eclectic, from NIN to Katy Perry.
>>
In reality, on the disc are clues to the location of the lost grail. OP is on an indianna jones adventure to find it, but a shadowy group who stumbled upon this thread and knew of the discs secrets are tailing him, and he is currently trying to throw them astray and make them think he didn't decipher the hidden message by playing Katy Perry Dark horse backwards
>>
>When I tried to post teh thread, it gave me an error. I didn't realize I made a thread.
oops...
>Nothing was on the disc, just some music.
i was expecting it to just be completely empty :sweat2:
>>
the disc was malware and destroyed his computer. or yeah he died from fapping to cp that was already in the disc drive

When I move out of my parents house, I am considering buying 500 burgasse takeout boxes, so that I can use these to eat from rather than porcelain plates. This way I do not have to do the washing up since I can just throw them away. 500 boxes costs £77.85 on ebay, if I use 1 a day, with an upper estimate of 35 a month, this will cost me just £5.45 a month (like 7.5 us dollars or 6.5 euros).

All considered, 5.45 a month seems liek a good deal for not having to do washing up. I would then order another 500 14 months later.

If you are finna say it is bad for da environment, I will inform you that burgasse is amde from crushed sugar cane pulp, most sugar cane pulp is thrown away anyway since the need for sugar is higher than the pulp so this is environmentally neutral.

Thoughts?

Unless you wash just one or two dishes at a time the dirty dishes will pile up for days while waiting to be washed and stink up the kitchen and attract lots of bugs, and you'll have to inhale that stench while loading them into the dishwasher. OP's plan is much less work and he can just throw the dishes out the window immediately after using them since they're biodegradable so all the bugs and rotting food odors stay outside.

Teh downside with takeout boxes are teh amount of trash that will pile up fast, and those will stink too! :dizzy:
>>
I normally use sugarcane plates for the same reason as OP: I despise doing the dishes. They're surprisingly resistant to leaking (though not completely like plastic).

I used to also cook soaked dried rice in paper cups with a microwave. As well as using paper towels on these plates to bake sausages and fish cutlets (don't go above 180C)

>>153081
>>153032
OP, I suggest you use the base and the lid as two separate plates, and tear the boxes at the hinges. That way you save even more and you can stack the used boxes more easily to save space.

Also consider aluminum foil trays if you want to make something soupy.
>>
>>153082
also if you want fry something on a skillet, try lining it with baking paper! Them you can just throw away the baking paper without needing to clean the pan.

Anyone else notice how the people who talk about how countries are losing "third spaces" tend to never acknowledge that social trust plays a role in the erosion of third spaces? If the people around you suck, youre not going to want to hang out.

if people are fist fighting at the ice-cream shop, youre probably not going to want to hang out there, because its annoying.
The issue isnt the fact that these places dont exist, its that theyve become too annoying.

If you provide people with a place to hang out, but the people who inhabit an area are vile or annoying, the space physically being there or not changes nothing. (´・ω・` )
Because... the people who inhabit a space, can change weather people find it hostile or welcoming.

I'll raise you this, OP: Third spaces both exist and are not inhabited by annoyances, it's just that the people who push for "third spaces" talk a lot of shit but still don't actually go outside. They don't want to put any effort into creating that "third space" where they exist.

Even in my backwater area of the U.S., there's lots of places younger people can hang out and meet people. Libraries, arcades, game stores, public parks, diners maybe, and more that are specifically designed for group interaction. Malls are still around, too! People act like they're dead but while they aren't as good or as populated as they once were, they're still perfect for bringing a friend and walking around just to be out of the house. The places I mentioned here are also populated with teh nigraz and are fine so 14801-san is, at best, only partially correct. ( ´ω`)

I never see young adults or teenagers out hanging around anymore. I've noticed this these recent years. They still go outside but only to specifically do one thing and then they immediately head back home. It's not that there aren't third spaces, people just like to blame being a lethargic loser on society. It is an ever true fact of life. ヽ(´ー`)ノ
>>
>>14803
hanging at the mall kinda ends up a bit lame when the food court is like $12/person and there's no more arcade
I live in a fairly populated area and there ain't jack shit

I have hung out at card shops and shit to play, that's alright if you're into them (and know some of the people there beforehand, because you try getting some turbonerd to actually interact with you) and is probably the one kind of third place I do consistently see people use a lot
>>
>>14803
i run into this problem too
sometimes you want to find a quiet place to sit down and talk
but you dont want to be noisy at a library and the arcade noise is too loud. public parks dont exist here because of homeless people. usually, we end up going to someone's house or a cafe
>>14804
most of the malls near me arent comfortable to hang out in. the atmosphere is important.
>>
We don't need third spaces anymore. The digital world has become a better one. I can hang out with my friends in a myriad of online spaces now. Screw going to the ice cream shop... I don't even have local friends anymore to go to these places. ( ´,_ゝ`)
>>
I remember when being all day looking at a screen (portable console) or on your computer / online labeled you as a nerd, or made people worry about your “addiction”. But then everyone got addicted, and now when I take the train, I feel like I’m the only one who is able to take his face out of the phone (they suck your soul btw).
I feel like a pioneer that has charted dangerous land.
Is being a shut in going to be the norm in the future? Maybe I’ll go outside then.

If I had to choose, I’d rather become an eloi rather than a morlock, and frolic with my legal loli Weenas all day while I wait for my turn to become dinner.

i have a list of anime that i plan to watch or have already watched, from the 90s to 2010s that are popular with otaku. there are a few i didn't include because i either watched and didn't like it, or don't think it'd be something i'd like. am i missing anything? anyone have any suggestions? i am open to stuff from the 2020s, i'm just not sure what's popular or even coming out these days that isn't mainstream since i haven't really been involved in the otaku/anime community in a long time (at least the ones who talk about newer stuff that's more niche or too "anime" for the average watcher. most of my friends like and talk about the more mainstream stuff (some aren't as mainstream but still have the feel of being so), and not saying that as a bad thing because some of them are good, but that's how i find out about newer anime and no one i know talks about anything that might go under the radar for the average modern anime watcher. i have one friend who likes some more kind of niche newer anime, but not really anime nerd kind of niche). there are other anime that aren't on here that i do like, but i don't feel like they fit on the list so i didn't include them. i'm also open to manga and VN/game suggestions, but i'm not going to make a list for those since the post would be too long.

i totally forgot about ichigo marshmallow, i haven't seen it yet but it looks cute. yuru yuri i also forgot about. i had a friend who was really into it, though preferred the manga over the anime which i never really saw anyone talk about. i'll probably just watch the anime, at least at first. the manga seemed worth giving a try from what my friend described.

Hi Heyuri, today while I was on my way to work a lady looked at me and I smiled without thinking. I don't know why I did that, this was the first time I smiled at someone like this. My heart is beating really fast!

Have you ever been through something like this? Does this mean we're getting married?
