Hiyuri! I couldn't think of a better place to ask this if I tried, so here goes: I'm looking for a somewhat specific(I think?) type of book to read! I'd like to read more Japanese romances, though so far I've only read Norwegian Wood by Murakami and Heaven by Kawakami. I've also read All the Lovers in the Night by Kawakami but didn't think it was as strong as Heaven, though it was still a fun enough read. I've also tried reading some more unconventional stuff like Piercing by a different Murakami but didn't end up liking it. Definitely a funny book, but it made my feet hurt. So uhh... are there any other good romance books I should read (;ﾟ∀ﾟ)

Heya! ヽ(´∇`)ノ It's been a while! Sorry it took so long! Truth be told, I only read at work, and I've had a lot of work to do, so I couldn't get much reading done. I guess you haven't read it so recently by now? :P Anyway, I really liked it. Books, especially good books like this one, never fail to arouse very strong emotions in me. I'm not really sure why. I hate it because it means I have to take frequent breaks, and that didn't help my reading speed either. I took all day to read the last 30 or so pages today for example because I was so overwhelmed with dread I just had to take a break every few pages and stretch or do some busywork.
But I really liked it! I liked it from start to finish. I especially liked that it wasn't a lesson with a moral, a main character, or a "good guy"/"bad guy". It just reads like a story from someone's life; not dark or light, just the grey reality of what happened as it happened. Excellent stuff. The writing was clean, to the point but still with enough artistic flair to remain interesting and fun to read, everyone that mattered was very well characterized and enjoyable, I really cannot think of a single bad thing to say about the writing. It was about as good as it gets, especially for a short story like this. When it comes to the more subjective analysis of what actually happened though, I'm not so sure what I'm supposed to think. Like I said, this reads like a "real" story, but much like with real life I just can't really find a clear lesson to take away from it all. It's not like anyone was inherently in the wrong, or did what they did because they were pure evil, and if this was meant to be a cautionary tale then what was it cautioning against? I really just don't get it┐(ﾟ～ﾟ)┌
Regardless of my lack of understanding though, I thoroughly enjoyed it. I was engrossed, I was emotionally affected, I enjoyed every page. That's what I think of it

Glad to hear you enjoyed it so much! I can relate regarding the emotional impact of books, I have actually slowed to a halt reading the third book in the series due to that exact reason. The sequel is also very good, but isn’t a romance. From what I can say so far, the themes in the series become more evident later on.

I'd like some eromanga recommendations, some untranslated anthologies preferrably. Some people read works individually, but I prefer getting 300 pages packs.

Loli manga is hot in 90% of cases, not loli manga is hot in 40% cases and disgusting in 30% cases. I'd really love if somebody points me to that 40% without me having to walk on the minefield.
