I like that one, its not as garish as Kinkade's others. Not everything has to pour with symbolism.
Still gets demolished by the average Thomas Cole painting, though. I used them as desktop wallpapers often.

There must be a pretty rational reason for it. They call us immature and at the same time seek for a mommy to suck her tiddy - what a LOL! As a shota, you must have made fun of girls or not understood them well. Now not only you look at the beauty of the young ladies with a new eye, but also understand the appeal of daughter-like role. They are not only demanding and bratty, even today there are still those naive girls who strive to be "a good girl", and to appear more grown up and rational - in a heartwarming, childish way - they still don't know that real adults are totally mad and boor and don't give a f*ck about things like ethics, niceness.
It's not easy to handle. Those who don't feel capable can only dream. Maybe it's just a dream more exciting than reality.

I am deeply embarrassed and ashamed of my father. He never really spoke to me growing up, except when he yelled at me and chased me around the house threatening to "thomp" me. He suggested I kill myself when I was a teen. My mother has always been extremely maternal, and never enforced any discipline on me at all. Both my mother and father are quite stupid people to be frank.
I have essentially grown up without a father figure, and an overbearing and weak mother. Neither have given me any real guidance in life.
I am currently in my mid 20s and I still live with them, we live in a very rural location so it's hard to find work.
Sometimes I think my life is literally what hell would be if it were tailored just for me, the Internet is both a respite and a heroin which distracts me from trying to move out.

I just needed to get this out. I am suffering deeply

I didn't have it nearly as bad as you, but I can relate to the lack of direction. My parents basically only gave a shit about my grades or if I got in trouble with other kids. Now they wonder why I "do nothing".
I feel things getting worse lately than when I was young. At home I'm always a bit on edge unless I'm in my room and know I'll be unbothered. Consequence and responsibility are coming fast and I still don't feel like getting off the tracks.
