This has been an issue for about 15 years. Guys with sensitive footage of ex-gfs, hookups, or strangers, post it online for various reasons: sometimes for revenge, sometimes to show off, sometimes just for the thrill and the power. Various websites support this practice, including some imageboards. Legislation against revenge porn came into force around the world rougly a decade ago, after some cases involving celebrities, but it hasn't been effective. Roughly 1/10 girls are victims.

I myself generally try to avoid it, and stick to 2D. But as a fan of amateur softcore, I end up crossing paths with it often enough to feel uncomfortable.

Most of the literature about the harms of revenge porn seems to focus on cases where it gets used as blackmail (classic hentai scenario), or when it gets posted alongside personal details, often leading to shame, post-traumatic stess, and career problems for the victim. Without forgetting the importance of these cases, I'm more interested in the bulk of situations, where the girl doesn't even know, and it never effects her life at all. ("check out my discord kitten") What kind of ethics can we apply here? The idea that there could be secret photos of me bouncing arounf online is pretty uncomfortable: on the other hand, I can't see how viewing a grid of pixels on my own computer can harm anyone but myself: to argue otherwise would lead us into metaphysics. (assuming you keep your ad blocker on, you don't even help fund the sites!)

At this point, you might appeal to simple bad taste, or if you're a feminist, the Male Gaze: the point being that the way these images are eroticised feeds into larger-scale social ills of misogyny and objectification. What if consuming revenge porn begets more revenge porn, makes it harder for you to talk to girls, etc? Then it might be helpful to clarify what is enjoyable about nonconsensual porn for the guys who consume it, besides the ones who post it. An easy explanation found in the literature is the eroticisation of nonconsensuality itself, and the thrill of indirectly participating in the violation of womens' autonomy.
