a few months ago i was listening to the radio and there was a segment where they allowed people to call in and say something funny

The submarine captain is obviously meant to be an homage to Vasily Arkhipov, who in real life firmly refused to launch a nuclear missile during the Cuban Missile Crisis, preventing nuclear war.

to alleviate the AI generation thing, should AI content threads be relegated to one specific thread as a rule? /l/ is almost exclusively AI now and is virtually unbrowsable (not to mention it's always metaforced into threads where noone asked for it at all), make it so it all has to go into one thread and then it can be hidden by the user if they so wish
