i've used kdenlive to make all my funny videos
i wish there was a way to make template effects if that makes sense, for example i sometimes want a shaking effect on some items in the timeline and the only way i know to do it is animate a transform by slightly moving the item every other frame or so which can be a long process if the clip is long
who knows, maybe there is a way to make such templates but i dont know it (´～`)

im on linux and i tried kdenlive and didnt like it... i then switched to shotcut... and it crashed so many times... and then i switched to flowblade.
its a little primitive but, honestly, alright. ive been considering going back to try kdenlive again but i dunno (´人｀)

I watched 2 eps and I enjoyed it way more than i honestly thought i would. Teh comedy was spot on, teh animation was nice and smooth and it had some good action in between! That said, it really s very lolicious and is target for otakus in every aspect - but also for any fate fans, as there are a lot of reference to original source, with some minors spoilers. But i doubt it will be deal breaks. It does give me a hint for what ill happend in fate/stay night but i dont mind.

Make sure your OpenGL context is initialized. And use the "-iv" functions to check the result of each step. Begin by doing it all inline in main and then break it up into functions once you have it working.

i rewrote it from scratch and it works now
i'm unsure where the error was as the function is the same as well as mostly everything else

does it matter which uint i use? i've always been under the impression that i have to use unistd types when i require a certain variable to be of a specific size, in this case the opengl functions i use to get the shaders return GLuint which my IDE informs me is a typedef for a generic unsigned int

The int you use doesn't matter, but using unistd ints can avoid a lot of pain while simultaneously reducing the amount of typing involved in monstrosities like "unsigned long long int" (which is just uint64_t).
If you ever go cross-platform (think wanting to support apple hardware on apple silicon), this is a potential source of bugs (because the type sizes differ).
