Guess I'll share some of my theology. The trinity makes perfect sense when you take some time to think about it. God created man in his own image. Man has 3 selves. The Flesh, The Conscious and the Sub Conscious. Thus reasonably it can be deduced that God would also have 3 selves. Jesus is God in the Flesh, God the Father is the Conscious and the Holy Spirit is the Sub Conscious.

I've seen a few people propose stream ideas in the past, so I figured I'd give it a go :smile:
Anime Club Saga: A video series centered around the lives of the inhabitants of the now-defunct Albany Public Library Anime Club. ACS is very near and dear to my heart, and it's something I watch every Christmas. It's a series no longer than one half hour, and watching it is a joyous experience no one should ever be deprived of. I've never had the chance to watch this series with anyone, despite my annual viewing of it being one of the only Christmas traditions I have left. It's a tradition I'd like to share with /b/ this Christmas Eve.
Now, there are two problems that stand in the way:
One, it isn't an anime.
Two, it's only 30 minutes. I feel like it'd work best as an interlude, or a pre-show to some larger piece of media. One OVA I always watch every Christmas is Itsudatte My Santa! If there aren't any other stream plans for Christmas Eve, maybe we could watch that too? Let me know what you guys think, or ignore the thread if you think it's a stupid idea :biggrin:

compilers and hardware back then were way more constrained. nowadays compilers do stuff like optimizing code and stuff, so an assembled C program can be more efficient than ASM entirely written by a human by hand.

but at that time it was typically more efficient for a human to manage all that low level logic on their own. most games on old consoles liek the genesis are done this way. Sonic Spinball is an exception and was programmed in C, but it has performance issues because of it IIRC

in 1993, on x86, writing in asm is definitely a bit baffling, but not entirely out of the norm, especially if you want to support 8086/8088 class hardware (earlier pc-98 machines)
but if you're targeting a 386 or better, you might as well write in C （⌒∇⌒ゞ）
and even if you're targeting a 286, you could (eg, wolf3d)

one thing to note: sonic spinball was made in like 3 months (seriously), they genuinely didn't have any time to optimize anything
it's also way slower hardware (a 7Mhz 68000), but a lot of the issue was just that they didn't bother making it run well, they needed it done fast

In the early 90s, in video game development? Quite easily - all of the popular systems (and computers outside of the very high-end that the vast majority could not afford) were using hardware from the mid-to-late 80s at best. Games being written in assembly during that time is fairly well documented, it's not a secret :unsure:

So, I like going to pubs myself only order coca cola and sing along to Karaoke. It's really improved my opinion of women because lots of different women come up to me to talk and dance with me and are often very friendly. Guys are also good natured towards me as well.

Im sure it was just a combination of media attention, and censorship on other platforms, which drove normies to 4chan to say things they couldnt say on reddit.
