I suddenly remembered a thread from quite a long ago when a bunch of russians were discussing stuff.

They were talking about some supersonic warming device for balls to reach 35 celcius or something and whether the dude should get it and how it works and everything.

It was brilliant because he said that near his block there was a pack of 13-15 year olds who would do anything for alcohol and he thought of changing his usual deal to to fuck them for vodka a bit, now without protection.

Guy wanted that device to kill sperm cells as they die when temperature is too high and directed blasting with waves does not help them survive. You have a ballsack hanging out so far away from your body for a reason - sperm wouldn't be able to survive in your regular body temperature. I think ballsack is supposed to stay much cooler and if you raise the temperature by some 2 or 3 celcius then sperm melts to death. So he thought if he killed the sperm then he would be able to fuck them without protection and finish inside and asked other dudes if they used it and could confirm it works.

I wonder if he really bought it.

There is such technology, or so they claim. I saw some of those ball boiling pots but I am not sure that it is as efficient as regular gum. Besides warming must take a long time to make sure that all sperm is dead and frying balls is not a nice feeling anyway. Probably for this reason it is not popular.

The first half of Be Here now, as it is, it's actually better than Definitely Maybe. Unfortunately, it starts to drag when it reaches "Fade In-out".
It almost feels like they released an extended version and forgot about the regular one. This could've been a 10/10 if they took 4-6 songs out or let only a couple of tracks over 5 minutes.
I mean, All Around the World is 9 minutes, is followed by a 7 minute song and then the album ends with a reprisal. It's absurd

Their music always seemed middle-of-the-road and nondescript to me - a bit too "Beatles Lite" and kinda dull - but then I'm not a fan of rock music in general :sweat2:

That said, I just went through some of their hit singles and I remembered pretty much all of them, so I guess they had "something" - though that could have just been too much airplay :xd:

This is my issue with them as well. wonderwall is their one unique contribution (and actually quite great)--when I started actually listening to their albums in full I was shocked. People actually think they were competitive with guys like Blur? Blur was actually doing something rather unique. Oasis as just part of that dead-end 60s nostalgia wave that haunted the 90s.

Don't Look Back in Anger is a better rock ballad, IMO
Honestly, i don't fully get the Beatles comparison, Oasis leans more heavily into the rock sound. They might be inspired by The Beatles, but not fully derivative
