do you know of any manga that is similar to berserk in style?

what im looking for is something that isn't completely realistic as far as looks go but not completely "classic anime" either (as an example the eyes should not be big, round and shiny, the nose should not be just a single line, etc...)
it should also have a high-ish level of detail if possible
hope that makes sense

the berserk pages i downloaded seem to be of low quality :foruda:

I haven't read berserk, but Akira first comes to my mind when you say "no big anime eyes" and "high-ish level of detail"
GTO also has full noses and normal-sized eyes

You should defentily read Vagabond, i claim its better than Berserk, but thats just taste in teh end. ;3

While art isnt as good as vagabond, i am a hero is another manga i like thats "realistic".

yeah super castlevania is easy compared to most of the series... which still means that it's pretty hard of course. I liked it but had to use savestates to enjoy it. especially because one of the later bosses is impossible to beat without taking damage (unless you're actually lucky), and he's a boss in the middle of a boss rush, too

I beat Silent Hill again last night and got teh good ending (first time I played without any guides :glare1:

). Emulated it, so there were some minor issues with the animations being buggy (at least I think so, since never played it on original hardware). But I adapted to the rotating tank controls pretty quickly and it was a lot of fun. :biggrin:

I finally understand the plot of the series now too.

Oh and here's a non-spoiler tip if anyone hasn't played SH1 yet, wants to, and wants a good ending without using a guide.

The first time I roleplayed as Harry Mason while playing, following the objectives as if I were in his shoes. This works great up until you get to the resort area. To get teh good ending you need to explore the resort area fully, even though logically you would be rushing to find you daughter... rather than searching every room as if you were playing a video game. :dark:
