What kind of technology has been your companion for a long period of your life?

I've had a 16 GB Sandisk usb drive since 2013, flashed it repeatedly with shit and yet it still works. I since bought another, but i keep losing one or the other in my room, so i end up using either one for stuff still. I'm amazed how helpful its been despite USB flash drives being notorious for killing themselves with prolonged usage.

many years of balls-to-the-wall gaming, CAD work, and general browsing
the thermal paste has not been replaced in eons

Have any other Amerifats tried to order things from Japan under in the past few months? Apparently because of tariff fuckery Japan Post is temporarily refraining from shipping things to the US until there's more clarification about policy. I read that DHL is still possible to use and chose that as a shipping method from AmiAmi, but can any others confirm?

Picrel is what I'm buying. Should have gone with Clownpiece, she surely would have been exempt for patriotic duty :smile:

Especially if most preferable to you is to have been born one of suggests you wish you were inherently of proud ancestry instead of having to hang out with them to make up for it an feel better by them accepting you as if you belonged to their proud nation - but that is an illusion.

Association with a nation that is known for great things is preferable, rather than association with those nations that are known to have been under somebody's boot. But times change and it becomes less and less relevant.
