Touhou 15 was the last good one with the last great characters as far as I'm concerned. 13-15 were kind of a downgrade from the previous games, but they were still lots of fun and characters like Clownpiece are too eroi to leave out!

I love how tragic Philippe Pétain is. A brilliant commander, the most respected figure of the interwar France, who was forced to lead the government after the capitulation to save France from the fate of Poland, did everything he could in his position to mess with the Germans and hardcore collaborators, and according to several accounts even tried to establish contact with the resistance, only to be branded a "traitor, whore and collaborator" in a show trial post war. I also love that his relationship with De Gaulle is literally that of mentor and his apprentice, even though they were on opposite sides.

Fun fact: when Philippe Leclerc, a very controversial Resistance general known for executioning soldiers without a trial was posthumously proclaimed marshal, he had to be buried with a marshal's kepi and scepter. When the commission came to the main hat maker of the French Republic and asked to make a marshal's kepi for Leclerc's funeral, he gave them a kepi that Pétain had ordered during the Vichy period and never picked it up. The scepter had to be taken from the confiscation warehouse, and it also belonged to Pétain. Thus, Leclerc, not the nicest historical figure, was buried with the regalia of a defamed hero, whom he hated. Justice exists!

Lol I can attest to the other side of this. The West gets a lot of flak, but in actuality Westerners are the least openly racist people out there. The Asian kid in our school was a pariah. Everything he did left him open for judgement. We even judged him for doing the opposite of something we previously judged him for. i like when it is chilly, but not cold to where it's a pain in the ass to go outside without freezing my balls off. i feel the same about the heat, because the heat brings the bugs and also sleeping with a blanket on makes me a bit too warm, even a sheet if it's really warm out (i much prefer to have something on me when i sleep so i tough it out but sometimes it makes my sleep quality suffer).

if forced to choose between one extreme or the other though, i would choose hot because it's easier to explore in hot weather than in cold.

I set up for my little brother a 2009 laptop running Windows XP miniOS. Installed the internet drivers, downloaded a browser and installed Plants Vs Zombies while at it. Been having a blast seeing him make the most irrational decisions possible and still managing to win somehow

God, I wish I could be this good. Their stacking patterns are super weird, just these huge, but still very freeform looking combos.
This is one of my absolute favorite pieces of tournament footage in any game.
It's so cool.

I'm still grinding out PP2 to get better but boy, this doesn't merely feel out of reach, this feels like it's in another galaxy. Alien superminds battling for supremacy, rather than mortal men of Earth.
