I don't subscribe to all posts about paedostuff coming from that, Heyuri has passively poked fun at itself for that since its inception and it works as a fair 'skin-thickness' test for new users. But what I've also seen on Heyuri for a very long time is these waves of people promoting "MAP" shit incessantly, every other post being about loli and totally 4 real paedo incest stories, and just overall being really fucking autistically obsessed with paedophilia. It only ever comes in waves that last about a few days and ends right when the general Heyuri sphere starts getting sick of it, usually following a /q/ thread for complaining.

You know what happens after that? 70% of the time, some sort of raid or DDoS attack. Once that's cleared up, we find screenshots of all of the MAP shit on the sites that did it. Coincidence? Nahhhhhh.

By now, I think we all know who's behind this... 👽

How come my post in this thread, (the one about fried pizza) keeps disappearing? I can't think of any rule I'm breaking. Is it because the image was posted recently? I cropped it slightly so it would be different--and anyway, you usually get a warning for that before you post.

you can't upload teh same image if it's already up on that board for a reason, aside from preventing duplication it keeps the content fresh. Trying to get around it by very slightly cropping the image is lame (;´Д`)

I guess I see where your coming from, but on the other hand, don't jokes sometimes improve from being repeated in different contexts? That's the rationale behind any running gag. The same joke repeated in different contexts. Each new context adds something to the joke, and sometimes it can build to absurd hilarity. Someone could have easily replied to my post in a way that ingeniously built on it.

Any chance of there being a way to not have the email field be remembered?

I've been hit with this a few times, getting an option applied to a post because I didn't notice the email field had sage instead of noko in it or whatever, and I've seen a few others be hit with it too.
in general, you only really want to sage/fortune/flag/nokoflag a specific post, and it's very easy to forget that it got saved; I pretty much only want noko on 99% of my posts

always noko is checked, but it doesn't do this

I'm sorry if I repeat what already had been made clear but it is my personal struggle in regards of this feature.

If not all file formats are allowed because that would imply that Heyuri can process them in a form that displays the contents (like all that currently are allowed are playable), then why not allow many other formats as exclusively downloadables and not necessarily able to display?
But what if you only want to share a file and not force Heyuri to display it like uploading .rar with a system of folders as purely a downloadable (because how do you open rar in browsers)?
The same going for mp3, flac, archive formats, pdf, asc and other signature formats (you can upload a playable mp3 by forcefully making it .mp4 anyway by a name change of an mp3 file and it plays properly).

My imageboard allowed any format but it would display an icon of what it is by format (if I set an icon) and had no way "to play" it, but instead it would download the file upon being clicked (and then user could run it and display locally).
It would possibly make the uploads board less frequented and less useful in comparison but it is more convenient. Uploads board had already been nerfed with the recent /b/ file size limit being raised that most files can fit.

I don't think teh HUEG file size limit will last, personally - it creates a nasty situation when we inevitably have to reduce it back to sane levels where some OC produced during this time period will no longer be able to be posted here (and will nevar be able to be posted elsewhere for teh promotions)

That's why I think it's bettar to have a "reasonable but more than enough" limit liek 16-20 MB smile

I don't think people referred to comfy for things besides things like sofas and blankets until pretty recent imageboard culture. I don't think it should be fully banned but it seems a little bit like a gray area.
