Does anyone know what happened to the Panty & Stocking thread on /a/?

maybe it was deleted back when that guy deleted a bunch of threads but didnt get restored?
>>
I don't think so, I'd remembrar if it was from that time
>>
Deleted posts don't currently get stored anywhere (the development of such a feature is in Teh Backlog), and the only evidence of a deletion is in the board's action log

That only gives vague info like "JanitorA deleted No.123456 on /b/ at 2025-08-29 12:34:56", so it's not particularly useful in situations like these unless we have the post number :sweat2:

Can we learn what emote is the most popular?
I am more interested with least popular emotes :nyaoo:

Like checking the database how many hits there are with each emote code by board and or time frame like yearly usage of each?

I suspect it to either be the mask emote or glare2 emote, hokke is new but I bet she was used more than glare2!

It would be a fun graph to compare their numbers!

I mean, I can think of 3 confirmed underage users, one of each is really obvious and posted the method of confirmation on the site and one other which is known to be underage by at least one mod.
Won't really say who, since I think it's a dumb rule anyway.

If you're referring to anyone on the CGI site (and I can only think of one), Rule 0 doesn't currently apply there. If you mean the main site, I don't know who you're referring to

Because of the new internet laws, I propose that Heyuri has i2p/Tor mirrors similar to 8chan. This would be very useful in general privacy. Not to mention the strong /l/olikon culture of Heyuri has made it a target for a wide range of issues in the past, such as our old domain registar BAWWWWWWing about our love for a good loli. Having mirrors or a seperate domain would fix this issue altogether. Thoughts?

Do not discount the iceberg reality of websites. 90% of users have never made a post. Consult the pie chart.
>>
>>69081
It might be a noob solution but what if heyuri additionally exported static html to the separate tor hosting directory? So the tor directory would be gutted of php. Regular web heyuri and tor heyuri would be effectively separate. If there is no php in the tor one (as it is copied static files) then posts can't be made as there is no mechanism to possibly be able to post. Which would make it effectively read only.

I tried to contribute.
>>
>>69139
I think tor would have a separate iptables rules. It might work.

Anyone else notice Heyuri seems to be turning into a tr****/femboy/discord namefag type imageboard? It's starting to fit very accurately the descriptions of detractors who think anyone who likes anime is a cross dressing faggot who puts dildos in their ass

Except right now thats actually how /b/ looks like. People posting their trans flag/LGBT whatever backpack pins, a bunch of namefags with mod-given capcodes talking about meeting up and jerking eachother off while crossdressing. And you are not allowed to even so much as lightly tease people since that is "trolling" and against the rules.

It's an early sign of bad things to come. If this becomes terminal Heyuri will end up becoming a glorified discord server, fit with its own gang of actual trannies.

Let's recap:
- There are two threads about crossdressing
- There is one thread about people meeting up, where they talk about doing so wearing cosplays and making out with eachother
- There is another thread where someone is flaunting their LGBT backpack badges

>Last time this site was remotely good was in the kuz era
You mean the time when the site's activity cratered - often having 0 non-spam posts per day, was nearly absorbed into a conglomerate BBS, frequently devolved into meta arguments, and rarely had anyone making OC - and didn't start picking up again until after he left? :glare:
>>

kaguya wasn't fully independent until the dissolution of kolyma which happened in july 2024, ans prior to then he still administrated under kuz's direction, kuz simply retreated from public eye to help heyuri move from drama.

Also, including the akima era and downtime as "kuz" is.....
>>
>kaguya wasn't fully independent until the dissolution of kolyma which happened in july 2024, ans prior to then he still administrated under kuz's direction
No he didn't - kuz was still involved with the hosting side of things for a long time after stepping down, but he had nothing to do with the direction or moderation of the site (minus a brief period around Feb/March 2023 where he tried to re-insert himself - causing a lot of drama in the process - and then stepped away again)

>kuz simply retreated from public eye to help heyuri move from drama
That "drama" was all kuz-related and caused by himself. And the real reason he stepped down was because he was at odds with the userbase, had been neglecting Heyuri's moderation and development since mid-2021, and had become more interested in various other projects/sites he was involved with

>Also, including the akima era and downtime as "kuz" is.....
There was no "Akima era" - the hack lasted less than a day, and lolico swiftly closed the site indefinitely. Kuz (along with lolico and Akima) was a significant part of why everything imploded in the first place, and kuz was working on several non-lolico Heyuri reboot attempts immediately after lolico's closure. After those attempts failed, kuz was in support of letting Heyuri die and replacing it with SH until he was finally persuaded by users to bring Heyuri back again

Even if you take that period out, the "kuz era" still begins in December 2020 and ends in April 2022 - the most inactive and depressing time in Heyuri's history
>>
>prior to then he still administrated under kuz's direction
I did have total independence from kuz. As I said back then: That said, he is my close friend whom I regularly talk with, so I can still consult for his views when I want. You can say I value his opinions
>he had nothing to do with the direction or moderation of the site
Not directly... I suppose there was just some ToS of KolymaNET, but he was more easy-going because of me and didn't want to cause troubles/possible dorama :nyaoo-closedeyes:
>a brief period around Feb/March 2023 where he tried to re-insert himself
Are u talking about the textboard template? What happened there caused more dorama than I'd liek, but it was all under my supervision. He proposed switching to a more developed version (since noone else was developing koko at the time) made by him for his another project (apiru). I didn't support the idea through, but decided to see what users had to say anyways. They didn't like it so I made him convert back. From thereon I don't think he ever tried to step in with KolymaNET.
>And the real reason he stepped down was because he was at odds with the userbase
It's not false that userbase had a distaste at that point due to his involvement with R8 sites, but many others were sad to see him leaving Heyuri (including you - see your own post while he was stepping down: >>61213 )
>kuz was working on several non-lolico Heyuri reboot attempts immediately after lolico's closure
at the first, he was trying to convince lolico to work together but that didn't work

May I respectfully ask for elaboration on what "overdoing it" is in the context of politics threads on the rules page?
Marked for deletion (Old)
>>
Upsetting a Heyuri staff member to the point where either his face turns red, or any bodily fluid including but not limited to tears, sweat, urine, snot, diarrhea, semen or precum leaks out of him as a direct or indirect result of looking at the post in question. Whether one of these conditions are met immediately upon looking at the post or at a later time while reflecting upon what was observed in that post is irrelevant.
>>
"Overdoing it" includes:
- flamewars, shitflinging, trolling
- being an obnoxious /pol/ack or SJW
- "culture wars"
- propaganda
- radicalization attempts
- astroturfing
- needlessly inserting politics into everything
- any form of trans-related discourse; positive, negative, or indifferent (tranny pr0n & hawtness are still allowed though, see: >>68376 )
etc.

I couldn't think of a better wording then

It's applied case by case, but apart from mature discussions, you could express dislike for an X nation/group/class, but you can't write paragraphs about how u want them dead.
It may be enforced more strictly if it's all we found that one is posting about on Heyuri too.

I would like to add a feature to Heyuri (configurable on a per-board basis) that allows the OP of a thread to be identified in the thread with a marker next to his name that says (OP)

It would be a useful feature  Would heyuri integrate it if i made it?

yeah like that is exactly the purpose of a tripcode to begin with.
>>
i think a feature like that is really only good in places like 4chan where there is a lot of samefagging, manipulation, etc.

A place like heyuri doesnt need that. if an OP wants to be OP they can specify it, if not, then they should have the choice to be anonymous. :closed-eyes2:

Can we have a report widget attached to posts? Makes it easier to communicate things like the pizza decaying at the very top of /c/ right now.

>Can we have a report widget attached to posts?
Stuff liek CP spam gets dealt with the moment one of us checks the site. Without some kind of "desktop notifications" feature, we wouldn't see the report until we were already checking the site anyway - at which point the report becomes redundant. It just gives us yet another thing to look at and manage, which we really don't need :sweat2:

If u see that kind of material left up for more than 10-15 minutes, the current best thing to do is head to Chat@Heyuri and mention it there - staff-san are usually lurking, and it makes a "ding" sound when new messages come in

I've seen that kind of stuff up for several hours on at least 3 occasions so far. Will go to chat@ next time though.
