I completely agree, but don't think this one has much to do with the "personal" part of your message. Noone would have a reason to make such a deal of it if they were simply OC characters doing fun things, as there is no obligation to draw some character from existing series. That's why I think "personal doodlepads" is a fitting word in this case

Looking at the 20 most recently bumped threads on Off-Topic, there are loli pr0nz in only two of them. Only 10% of threads have it. If anything, I'm tired of this low percentage!

I've only encouraged VPNs personally. Most users post with seemingly bare IPs, then 2nd place is VPN/proxy users - Tor users are pretty rare, and from my observations it's primarily to cause trouble / facilitate ban evasion

I do encourage using Tor/VPNs if you can afford it, but there is a good reason why a lot of Web 2.0 sites block interactions from TOR.

there must be some way of making Heyuri tor friendly while keeping out the undesirables. The way CP spam is being posted makes me believe its not automated. I've heard a janitor from another site say they think someone is manually posting that stuff and not using tor.

I'm 65150-san, no definitive date for Heyuri-tan quest, I got other stuff to deal with.

If I were to host a quest, I think I would probably deliver once per day. That would give moar time for anons to give ideas, and most importantly, for me to maek good quality drawings. Threads enter autosage in a 7 days, that wouldn't be long enough for me, I can't do it in a day like robo-kun-sama.

I considered multiple possibilities:
-create a new thread every week. Depending how on long the quest takes (i have no idea!!) it could be a pain in the ass, I might have to make a recap pic every time: I think one important point of a quest is the clarity, if anons get lost or forget what happened, it would die.
-mods use their superpowers to increase the thread lifespan, or at least modbump once in a while. Sticky might be too much.
-Hosting the quest on /o/, but not many people go there. （ ´,_ゝ`） Also the interface isn't optimal.

What do you guys think?

Also, robo-kun, what could have been elegant penguin-san's role in your quest? I'm dying to know!

I think an ongoing quest thread would be great fun, but some might find it annoying to see the same thread bumped up to the top of the front page for days or weeks on end. idk the best way to handle that.

I recommend disabling the visual editor entirely in ur user settings and just using teh l33t editor - it's a pain 2 lern at first, but in the long run it causes much less table raep & other bad formatting issues

The intention was to clean up the existing messy/conflicting CSS for kokonotsuba first and then take user submissions for new styles (see: >>62912 ), but untangling someone else's crappy HTML/CSS is very boring/tedious work (especially for kokonotsuba which is inherently messy & confusing, and the public github version isn't identical to our running instance), and we've had more fun Heyuri-related things we've wanted to work on in the meantime instead (such as Heyuri★CGI)
