MP4 is just a container format - the actual formats of the video and audio within can vary wildly

you typically get that error when the mime type doesn't match the upload extension

common example: webp images that are renamed to look like a jpg <----- AIDs :vomit:

Has Heyuri been slow for others as well? Whenever I come here it takes a good 15-20 seconds for the site to load. Especially /b/ takes about 30 to load. Other boards seem to be fine. (like /l/ :3) I've been on this site almost daily for 3 years now and this is the first time this has happened.

I am happy that Heyuri has an OC creator like you. I'm also looking forward to the full version of that!!

One thing I want to tell users is that I added the disgust ones hoping they will be used to express genuine disgust, and not a replacement of "vomiting 2D girl reaction image" you see on some Western BBSes that people use when they have disagreements. I believe this is important enough to mention for the sake of our culture.

Note: they have been converted to .gif and slightly renamed. They are viewable from the Emotes dropdown, I will edit the repo and BBCode page later on

It's always Moetan, Di GI Charat, Ichigo Mashimaro, Haruhi, and Rozen Maiden, among other suspiciously popular anime series. You do know there was other anime made during that time, right? OP, to actually give an answer to the original question you asked (why users keep posting the same 5 anime even though they're "all supposed to be into old shit" and "there was other anime made during that time" (your words)), one I can think of is that those are the ones most users here like the most. There's probably a 100 other anime, but since most users dont like them as much as those main 5, they don't talk a lot about them unprompted. Imagine asking what sodas people like drinking the most. Most would probably say Coca-Cola or Pepsi! You probably won't get an answer like luzocade or jarritos that often.

If you want to get more people talking about other old anime, make a thread and anyone interested will reply! But you can't force users to talk about something they don't like or enjoy watching.

Heyuri only has a limited number of users. If you want to discuss an old anime you like, you're more likely to have a more active discussion if it is a series a large number of Heyurians are likely to have watched, which no doubt Heyurians take into account when making threads
