I tried this new anime upscale on Shana. It works pretty damn well, even for shana that has so much "blur/fog" in it. I need to try it a lot more to really see what i think.

I only saw half of an episode of shana before i decided to quit. It was fun to try and pretty awesome to see it scale in real time, as it did so pretty well. There seems to be a lot of effort put into this scaler so had to give it a try. But shana has way 2 much blur in its original source, so might not be teh best anime to try it on. I might try it again on some other anime - but i imagine that anime, also are very much like games on a CRT - that it uses its blur to its advantages.

We will watch Penguin Musume♥Heart (2008) and Netrun-mon THE MOVIE #1 (2004) on the next Saturday (24th), starting 18:00 UTC

It's not written much about Penguin Musume besides the main character is an otaku girl who becomes her school's seitoukaichou. I'm sure it will be plenty fun! :biggrin:

The other "Movie" is a single short OVA episode we will watch afterwards as we will have enough time left. It's an anime conceived by NetRunner Magazine, directed by Poyoyon♥Rock of Popotan/Komugi-chan/Monogatari

I enjoyed the Netrun movie, it was a fun little adventure.

Well there's certainly moe characters, but the story itself isn't moe. I mean its not like some intense seinin or something, but its got the usual action and sad stuff you'd see in an action/adventure series. So it might not always be happy/cutesy enough for after work unwinding like slice of life is.

...although the .hack/4Koma probably has enough humor to counteract any dramatic and sad parts, so maybe go with that? ( ´ω`)
