2020s otaku culture is interesting, because it's basically split. the old guard otaku like old anime, visual novels, moe, and such. they basically feel targeted because of new moral standards like anti-loli, posers who seek otaku as a status symbol, etc. you can see this feeling represented in magical destroyers. another 20s anime of old guard is 16bit sensation for visual novel otaku. the new otaku are interested in gacha/mobile games (though these are popular among old guard too), isekai, vtubers, and such. the recent movie chou kaguya-hime was a good representation of the new otaku culture, it is a more fantasy setting than the other titles in your list though. There are also a lot of people who overlap new and old or who have changed, this can be seen in isekai ojisan.

I only watched the first TV series - I vaguely remember enjoying it, so I dunno why I didn't continue

I watched and read all of it but god knows why because it wasn't very good other than the art. I remember the Shaft anime which was a very loose adaptation being alright. I suppose if you just love harem and shonen battle manga this will tick the boxes.

I've only watched the SHAFT version. But I was ultra obsessed with yuri at the time so I got so bothered by ep 5 (I believe it was 5, but I mean the one directed by Oishi in case this isn't the right number) I was unable to enjoy the rest with a clear mind.

OP here, I watched Shin Cutie Honey and Re: Cutie Honey...

Latter was the best, u can feel gainax at some points and being from 2000s helped it have teh best feeling (subjective but most Heyurizens should agree). It's just 3 episodes so I suggest it to everyone

I think that was filmed by Shiro so Sora could fap to it, but she later decided it shows too much and ended up not showing to Sora. She becomes a little jealous sometimes but nonetheless helps collecting material so Sora can fap
It's also revealed that in the old world, Sora used to fap during times where he thought Shiro was asleep, but the sound of him fapping would wake Shiro up but she would keep fake asleep. He was upset that he wouldn't get to marry due to this, but Shiro consoles saying that she would take him

Usually the workplace is a boring setting, but I thought that the author did a really good job of making things interesting. There's plenty of cheating and OL office drama, and the occasional ero page, but it never drags on for too long. My personal favorite parts was the inter-factional rivalry in the corporation, cunning executives trying to cut down the MC, hostile takeovers thwarted by last minute thinking... even something you might think would be totally boring, a shareholders meeting, is turned into a very exciting event in this manga.

So, overall, I highly recommend!
