Self inserting as the loli has been popular since the start. A bunch of interviews and essays in lolicon magazines from the eighties talk about it.
Although I'd say if you aren't attracted to the loli herself you aren't one. You can enable loli on gelbooru in the settings without an account: https://gelbooru.com/index.php?page=account&s=options Unfortunately gelbooru doesn't have any scat like ATFbooru does though. Also I think hitomi.la has more than nhentai, but it might just be more different language versions or something. There's also Pixiv which has more than boorus but also a lot more low quality stuff to dig through. You need an account there to see porn, and probably need to change your region to Japan in the account settings to see loli/shota.
