i am genuinely tired of seeing ai images. sweat3
>>
Someone was evidently generating some meido pix.
Often tiemz, unexplained pictures on Uploader@Heyuri with seemingly no context are actually used in Chat@Heyuri

Ex:
★ Anonymous > LOL DICKTITS (1945/5/01-00:01:58)
★ Anonymous◆gay0hTF/6Q > I came (1945/5/01-00:01:24)
★ fujo-tan◆yaoiCSmuu2 > WTF (1945/4/30-23:57:32)
★ ILOVECOCKS > https://up.heyuri.net/src/2969.jpeg (1945/4/30-23:55:59)

But I never saw anyone link that maid picture personally, so idk ┐(゚~゚)┌

Yes, thanks. I had thought about the Chat myself. Maybe that user will see this thread later. I was able to confirm it's indeed AI. But what he meant by this...

This also sparks curiosity:

I think I saw that meido image linked on Strage World a few days ago

AI has nearly perfected making anime pictures. I'm getting fooled by it left and right. I feel like an old person on facebook. dark

geniunely curious what i said to hit a nerve so deep. the sentiment of ai being antithetical to the point of rule 8 is shared by many here and just saying it shouldnt be a reason to freak out
>>
>>143630
did u just evaded it dark
Kaguya himself 👑☝, who art in Heaven, has posted AI pr0nz from 2chan.

BTW Kao in her overalls is a fucking cutie

Not teh mod who B& u, but u were most likely B& for metaposting outside /q/
>>
>>143630
I agree. But heyuri's rules have always been enforced like this (i.e. totally at random with 0 relation to the actual written rules but rather only taking into account today's mood and the phase of the moon). One day it's suddenly fine to say Forbidden Words™ and even mentioning this issue is a bannable offense, then phrasing disapproval of a certain kind of content is suddenly bannable, then suddenly actually it's only like that for some people and not others... dark
>>
the best way to keep people in line is with sudden, shocking displays of violence
cry🔫coolΣ(゚д゚|||)
>>

It's true though.
But It's best when the line is tangible, otherwise why care about keeping in line, when it could shift at any time?

Meta posts should probably not be outside /q/, but then the ban should be about metaposting, not about "you don't like AI omg!" or phrased like in that ban message. Otherwise it's just ragebait. That doesn't encourage people to stay in line, if you get my meaning sweat2

Even if we're largely on the same page with most things, Heyuri staff-san is made up of multiple different volunteers with multiple different perspectives, and we individually moderate as we see fit with minimal communication with each other (unless there's a serious issue or dilemma)

Unlike earlier iterations of Heyuri, we don't have some lame "handbook" on how to moderate or interpret rules (shit sux), nor do we have a dedicated staff group chat to bicker and jack ourselves off. Instead we just discuss things with everyone publicly on /q/ or wherever needed, and adjust & improve things as situations come & go

Metaposting on Heyuri outside of the dedicated metaposting board has always been frowned upon and baleetion worthy - the reason being that it usually derails into exactly what's happening ITT now (at best!). This is especially true if it's a tired topic like "ban AI images". I wouldn't personally have dealt a 1-day ban to 143624-san - maybe just a baleetion or warning at most unless it's a repeat offender - but that's just me

>>143643
There was people who were critical of Heyuri... You better not know what happened to them cool
>>
>>143630
Mod who B& you here.
Yes, it was for metaposting. I'll grant I probably should've included a "R5" in that message to make it more clear what it was for and that's my fault so I apologize.

Please understand that when I'm online I mostly deal with spam/trolls, so my judgement is a little... impaired when it comes to dealing out punishment for normal rule breakings. In this case, a ban was excessive, especially seeing as you haven't made any prior offenses. I am sorry. 🙇‍♂️

Citation needed.
Judging by past threads on the topic, either there is no consensus reached or it swings in the "meh, keep it around" camp. See: https://img.heyuri.net/q/koko.php?res=67673 and https://img.heyuri.net/q/koko.php?res=62934
Not to mention 143634-san. Personally, I can do with or without it. I don't feel strongly one way or the other.
But that's besides the point. I've went ahead and revoked your ban. You are a free man. biggrin

I better not be getting a salary cut for this shit...
