Now that adobe is dead, what should i use to embed flash and play it on my browser (firefox)? I currently have to go through the trouble of downloading and it then playing it with .swf player

There's ruffle, a work-in-progress flash emulator that has Firefox/Chrome browser extensions:

It's far from perfect though - there's a lot of features it doesn't yet support, and it fux up the text rendering and special FX in my Heyuri SWFs

Text doesn't wrap when it should and it goes off the edge of the screen. This happens whenever there's a long paragraph. The box here is also not wide enough to contain the text. I've only noticed it happening for that reply though.

The oekaki applet is PaintBBS NEO and it's actually done in JavaScript so... if I where to make it into a program it would be more like a specialized browser like the dicksword app.
It's actually the one used on Futaba Channel (2chan) too.
I could probably take a crack at making a separate paint program with the same functionality in the same style.
