You wouldn't have to "live with" her, and it's not like she can divorce you or otherwise ruin your life because she's there just to mate with you, if she causes problems then the aliens will get rid of her.

They leave pandas together even when they dont mate because theres a limited supply of pandas and the chinese government regulates how many they loan to foreign zoos.
If its any other kind of animal, they switch them out if theres issues.
