the fat PS3 because you can watch anime DVDs/BDs and play PS2 games with it
i had fat ps3 but think i only used bluray twice or something. While teh USB port was great for streamming downloaded movies.

I end up playing PS1 games more than PS2 games, but if I have a PS2, I can play both sets, so the PS2 is king.
