Played with Ruffle here
At the beginning of each battle, I see all mobs being rats for a split second until they make a move
At the beginning of each battle, I was dealt a huge damage (liek over 9000, leaving me with a tiny bit of my health) by enemies. I think I also deal a huge damage to them that time because some of them disappear very quickly
Maybe if the player is using arrow keys, the green mouse indicator thing thing should disappear until the player moves his mouse

however my biggest problenm with the game that bothered me through the playthrough was that... main girl is fukin FAT!

girl is good amount of fat. soft and sweet.

pretty neat!

if you want critique:
the speech bubble overlaying the character sprite is suboptimal, as battles are frequent I always had the speech bubble there until the next battle happened and after that and so on, so 99% of the time I could see where exactly my character was standing, not a huge deal, but still annoying
also the HP bar doesn't scale its max value and just overflows over the original max length

*couldn't see (if it wasnt't obvious)

Using Ruffle
The health bar often goes well over the bar, a few times it even went over when my health was below the maximum number.
Sometimes the enemies switch from a rat to a snake and a snake to a rat when first encountered.
The girls run animation is fine. Maybe add some effect to the guys animation like a small "woosh" like a DBZ style thing when people fly, but only to his feet. Like a helicopter pushing dirt.
The characters talking is fun, but their dialog takes up half the screen.
AI is annoying to me so I appreciate the honesty and it looks good.
Got to the end and didn't get to see it because I was holding down the arrow key.

Why did you pick this genre?

I wanted mouse-based grid movement for a mobile flash game, and this seemed like the easiest style of game to pull off with one person. Ive added more dialogue but there doesnt seem to be much of a point. Ive also added zelda text talking/beeping, but again, no point. I wanna take a dig at the combat before this is done.

Thank you for noting out the bugs; AI and Chatgpt wont generate a fullsheet sometimes; the running animation is cut off because they wouldnt swap arms or legs, so I just got the wizard to float after being so fed up looooool

It was an interesting experience...:sweat2:
It's biggest challenge is losing. Even if the player never attacks; enemies will always flee fairly quickly and the player gets xp no matter what so the player will level up and get health back preventing the bar from ever depleting.

Bishopu is right because i did not want to invest a lot of time into something I really hate; which is making up a roleplaying game with items and systems that someone will beat in 3 minutes. I am very bad at game design; but I am going to come back one day to try and fix this
