With the modern internet and OSINT, being a stalker is trivial. Aside from good old "not putting your address on the interwebs", what could you do to prevent stalking, or people getting your hands on your location?

just shut the fuck up.

That's my advice, every information can be used to build a profile on you. I've never had social media and never will. I lie constantly on the internet. A non state actor doesn't have anything to work with lol

It is not always easy. I found it hilarious to post someone's info in public, the ultimate shaming ritual
I then started treating it like bloodsports. Going through all weird tricks to squeeze one more detail and teh creativity. I managed to find homes of famous people from Poland who try to stay silent about personal info. I have not yet revealed that data but I have the power at this very moment to unleash a huge crusade of kids to house of one dude.

There were a few annoying kids to whom I dedicated so much time and effort to find, how many hops, how many clues and trails, how much manual labor, databases, court records, national registries, tax documents, piecing together life stories and communal efforts.

I stopped doing it competetively but I still can't help but notice stuff.

They say that the Organic Chemistry Tutor's name is Julio Gonzalez but to my findings it actually is Jerry Gonzalez (but I can be mistaken) and I did not dig deeper, I remembered it for no reason.

And I found out that Mental Outlaw lives in Massachusetts in Melrose (he forgot to use a proxy appearently)
I heard a bike in one of his episodes and we could make out how it moved depending on sound intensity to figure out a road outside his house and curves depending on speed of it, later to be used to confirm his location
And his blinders along with positioning of windows (distance between them) must be visible from google maps when scouting that town, but he probably hides the view from his window just for the video and pulls blinders up immediately after so it would be more efficient to look at the color of his walls that you would be able to see through the window to confirm you have a suspect
I am not proficient in US public records but we probably could figure out which Kenny in Melrose has a business made around selling merch online, it would almost certainly be tied to his house as HQ of his registered company and we could instantly look up if colors of walls, proportions of windows, and their placement match what is visible in his videos since they match a court record with his name and town already, very high confidence guess. I had no place to share this info for the last 4 years.

If I really wanted I would find his house

If you look at a few of his episodes there are lakes exactly like that of Massachusetts, he did not use residential proxy but his own house for sure

In edge in top most right most panel at 2:50
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xYtsHIlolck&t=170s

I tricked so many people into opening microsoft edge while broadcasting screen because the default page shows your place, they think nothing of it and then we got his address and we can keep digging the internet for the rest of the information

Also windows functionality with weather in the taskbar - when you pull it up it also shows your location and I kept asking streaming kids to click that button because "i am curious what weather you got" as an innocent excuse question that normal people could ask

There is also one extremely dirty trick to get almost all people to unknowingly reveal their entire name and exact address but I cannot share it because it is too powerful, I have seen nobody on earth use it so far

This is enough. Just don't share every detail of your life - something many people do because of chronic social media usage.

To add, you should pay attention to the way you post alongside the contents of the post themselves. Details such as the time of day you reply and the way you write your sentences can be used to identify you if someone is paying attention. That's usually how anons can tell that someone is samefagging a thread.

Provided they don't have a way to find your IP, a good suggestion to throw them off is to give bad/wrong information. There's an idea I read where if you directly give people concrete detailed information, they might not bother with checking whether any of that is true.

i hope you dont write teh exact same way over multiple sites, thatd be really stupid :hokke:

I add mistake or weird quirk to my post very often.
there might be some pattern that make me recognizable, which I failed to account, but no one never ever noticed my samefagging so I feel pretty safe.
ps
for awhile I was consistently misspelling a particulare word but luckily I wasn't doing anything particularly obnoxious :nyaoo-closedeyes:
