If you think yourself good at chess, then consider participating or deciding amongst yourselves. There will only be one participant per site.
If you didn't know, gikopoi has a chess feature, that would also be easily accessible and viewable by all.
>>
we need a heyuri chess tournament too
>>
when will the tournament begin
>>
>>147591
Sometime in July, forgot to say that
>>
There's a rumor that a certain Heyurizen with nekomimi is waarudo-class chess player

I am teh best there is - at losing! >;3
>>
that's what a PRO would say!
>>
so, how will heyuri choose a representative?
>>
i have chess ai set up
will there be cheat detection?
i could mix up multiple ais to avoid detection
>>
we don't need 2 cheat 2 win
>>
I can try. When are we picking a heyuri representative? I can prove my worth in battle! I was the school chess rapist.

Only that this week is clogged for me a bit. I have an exam in a few hours, then a day off, then Saturday drinking till I pass out and Sunday I have to travel and so I can't do much this week.
>>
Will someone record or broadcast it? Stakes are higher in such case. Either eternal glory or eternal shame!

i lost two gaems! hax0r.
>>
but who won?

don't just prove your l33t chess sk1llz and go missing without naming yourself!!1
>>
can we beat hikari3? I dont want to get first rounded
>>
>>147615
Hikari is aparrently doing a mini tournament to decide who competes, we just have to hope that they all suck
>>
>>147618
why aren't we doing the same thing
>>
as far as teh risks go, picking our very best chess player as the biggest BBS listed there but losing anyways to one of our own offsprings is more embarrassing than sending a random Joe to represent us :sweat2:
>>
Are you guys fine doing a little clash for the best of heyuri this Sunday at 20:00 euro time? Should we pick some other hour? Because 20:00 euro means 14:00 East Coast. What are timezones of our challengers so that we pick an appropriate time? Australia got winter I think but us in the North are scorching from sun.

We should pick a site which allows to spectate a game in progress. Don't cheat plox!
>>
That sounds like fun, and i hope that our Heyuri Chess Grandmaster is already preparing. I suck.
Just afraid of hax, i hope everyone plays fair :nyaoo-closedeyes:
>>
>>147666
aha.. that is 4am on a Monday for me.. aha...
>>
winner of teh clash could play with those who couldn't make it @ a later date
>>
Should I coordinate internal tournament?

I can keep records and update them everyday. In my school the tournament went with 'Every Name x Every Name' table, so everyone had to face off everyone else and whoever ended up with most victories was the winner. Please don't cheat by playing with yourself and posting results. I won't assign points for wins againist people where the name of the loser can't be determined and I can't assign a loss honestly. If there is no name anywhere in the chess game link and nobody admits who lost - I discard it.

I used lichess and it is fit for a tournament of this sort. They require no account, allow making a game with invitation link and they supposedly allow live audience so that heyurizens can mock both players in real time and catch cheaters. Lichess claims to show a message to you when the other dude is almost certainly cheating so that is nice. And the game record stays up so that I can review it and record names and score. If someone wants to use some other site - please make sure it is fit for keeping records and everyone can check the game move by move and second by second.

Anyone interested:
1. List time when you are available for a game so your date and hour + timezone or country/state. (Note that summer and winter times differ by an hour and most timezone maps show summer timezone. Or better - list unix timestamps instead of human calendar if you fear you list a wrong time.)
2. You might want to use a tripcode when posting a link to chess here on heyuri, so that I don't record a naughty nisemono as your score. If you don't use a tripcode when posting a game link - it is on you. I assume everyone is honest until proven otherwise.
3. Plz don't cheat and don't assume someone's name.

They said mid june is when the competition starts, so I personally think we should be done by the end of next week here on heyuri.

Im sure a haxor is bound to win if unchecked. They are sophisticated nowadays. Whoever is orgainizing should analyze the game with AI to detect AI to confirm it was an honest game, sadly they detect really only idiots who can't pretend being legit so it might be hard :sweat2:
I think that banning a chan for cheats is overkill. If cheats are detected let's give the cheating chan an opportunity to make up for cheats and force the admin play the rematch and the rest of the tournament or declare their loss. If a random anon cheats - it is to be expected, but if admin cheats that is a death sentence for chan reputation, or a win of the year if the admin wins for his own chan.

>>147671
I can play between Sunday 18:00 and Monday 1:00, summer euro time. Perthfig :nyaoo-closedeyes:
I can send unix timestamps if you want.
This message is also my advertisement.

When can you play? Time + timezone. I can sunday 18:00 - monday 1:00 summer euro time.
>>
yeah I probably can
>>
Heyuri vs Hikari3 will probably happen, but I am not sure if other sites are nearly active enough to find players
I don't even see announcement threads in some
>>
By simply showing up, we can win by default ヽ(´ー`)ノ
>>
I am a Heyuri nationalist. Why are we entertaining the aspirations of these inferior sites? They are beneath us. I propose kaguya take this line of thinking a step further and begin conquering these websites.

When somebody direspects your clan (by being better) you burn their capital and murder all their members. Genocides are always romantic and patriotic, even cyber genocides! :nyaoo2:

Pez raped me and came twice!
I might have just been knocked up...

I think pez is having the priority in the contest for now unless somebody beats him, he is faster than me and stores more piece positions than my little memory

If you think you are better challenge him, best of heyuri is still to be determined if someone happens to be better

Pez plz list when you are available if someone wants to confront you to ascertain you as our primary chessfag
>>
I will be really busy coming weekdays forward... I would like to play for Heyuri, but I wont be available untill next saturday.

I also lost to some random dude... :x3:
>>
Lets choose our champ at townhall!
>>
i am here to say i support you pez. you kicked my ass and i want you to kill there ass
