What will actually happen: Google Chrome market share goes from 95% to 99.9%

i tried making a browser so i wouldn't have to worry about these things, making a dom tree didn't look like hard work but i have no idea how to render it

99.99% of the internet won't work unless you make a javascript engine, and 90% of the internet will break every other week because web developers can't stop themselves from immediately using every new javascript feature that comes out. If you want to make a practical browser then you have to make it your life's work to keep implementing new useless crap all the time.

well that cant be true, i havent updated my browser in a year and it still works, making a javascript engine sounds hard, but would be the last thing i do after i make sure plain basic html+css works flawlessly

I've used LibreWolf pretty much since it was new.

I've never had any problems with it.
