I just woke up from a 20 year coma, I'm so excited to use a future toilet that doesn't splash water all over your butt when you go take a shit! It has been invented by now right?

I don't think I want my shit to fall onto a solid platform like that though.

it stinks more when not immediately covered with water, so it's better to have a water splash in UrANUS
>>
...You guys know that you can just put a couple squares of toilet paper in the middle of the bowl and it will catch the poop and soften the blow, therefore not causing a splashback from the water, right?

Why couldn't the toilet spray water downwards to create some kind of whirlpool, like an upside-down bidet? Wouldn't that prevent the splash or at least stop it from splashing straight up?
