Anyone else notice Heyuri seems to be turning into a tr****/femboy/discord namefag type imageboard? It's starting to fit very accurately the descriptions of detractors who think anyone who likes anime is a cross dressing faggot who puts dildos in their ass
Except right now thats actually how /b/ looks like. People posting their trans flag/LGBT whatever backpack pins, a bunch of namefags with mod-given capcodes talking about meeting up and jerking eachother off while crossdressing. And you are not allowed to even so much as lightly tease people since that is "trolling" and against the rules.
It's an early sign of bad things to come. If this becomes terminal Heyuri will end up becoming a glorified discord server, fit with its own gang of actual trannies.
Let's recap:
- There are two threads about crossdressing
- There is one thread about people meeting up, where they talk about doing so wearing cosplays and making out with eachother
- There is another thread where someone is flaunting their LGBT backpack badges
All on the front page of /b/ right now.

I am half expecting a mod to delete this since I think at least one of them is a crossdresser himself, but I respectfully ask that you do not. I am a pretty long term user of this site, I enjoy it, I simply have a concern about this trend, as its ruined alot of imageboards before.

This has nothing to do with tr*ns people. People used to cosplay and be lewd far before all that psyop stuff.
Maybe it was before your time, but meet ups and in person gatherings were pretty commonplace.
With that said, I'm not a fan of the cross-dressing, mostly because im against 4/soc/-style attention whoring, i trust the mods/admins to know when its gone too far.

Now is a good time for me to add that even though I have no problem with tripfagging (as its always been encouraged on Heyuri), giving random non-staff custom capcodes has done nothing except boost the egos of the users who have it. Whether its your intention or not, it elevates how other users percieve that particular tripfag. Kind of like a custom role on a discord server or those faggy-ass elaborate banners on old forums. It encourages hierarchic attitudes and also looks bad.

There is a certain gheyness attached to some of the content you listed, I think there should be a balance between to keep the place fun and not turn into a full-blown "discord imageboard" as you call
I have to agree some of those backpack pins are stuff that'd be deleted out of tumblresque lame-ness, but they're also in the context of a crazy girl posting about the anime she likes. I'm happy Heyuri users do a good job not talking about those parts of otherwise acceptable occurrences
I didn't particularly check their background but the crossdresser who posts his nudes is seemingly a Heyuri regular, it can't be all his identity. If it's his fetish to post n00dz while shoving a dildo up his ass, we'll let him! Everything aside, such sexual content is always welcomed (to the extend of not having the board domination, or doing it in a certain way u see on 4/soc/) on Heyuri, whether the subject is hawt girls or bara yaoi is up to our luck
some other points
>a bunch of namefags with mod-given capcodes
lurk moar - "namefags" are always welcomed, and capcodes are to encourage it (and a special feature of our board software, though 4chan used to do the same in teh past)
>There is one thread about people meeting up, where they talk about doing so wearing cosplays
As with all real-life events including Heyuri, it would be a hueg win! You're just partyp00ping.
>I am half expecting a mod to delete this since I think at least one of them is a crossdresser himself
Not to my knowledge
I understand you're genuinely worried and have a good will, but if you're worried about your posts getting deleted, consider trying to follow the rules instead of (falsely even) calling any people in a rule 7 way.

It is board domination - nearly half of the current front page is about this topic.
>As with all real-life events including Heyuri, it would be a hueg win! You're just partyp00ping.
Right... a bunch of LGBT people meeting up and fucking eachother in a basement is a huge win for Heyuri. Definitely doesn't play into the stereotype right?

Posting your lgbt flag pins, being a tranny and posting about you love cocks in your ass = not rule 7
Calling someone the mean t-word = rule 7

on off-topic, out of 15 threads, you're bitching about two of them - one is about crossdressing and the other is itabag
>Right... a bunch of LGBT people meeting up and fucking eachother in a basement
Weird ur claiming that while OP said
only no fluids and no penetration allowed
Did you thoroughly read the thread before making these accusations or just skimmed over to see the part about wearing costumes and arrived to conclusions?
>Posting your lgbt flag pins, being a tranny and posting about you love cocks in your ass = not rule 7
Apart from flag pins (which we will overlook), that is correct. Rule 7 doesn't forbid people of any sexuality to use the site, as it doesn't forbid people of any ideology using it. Users can most definitely make sexual comments out of horniness
>Calling someone the mean t-word = rule 7
Correct! Only in very specific cases it can even be referenced to, even if the person in question is posting their n00dz and it's obvious.

>I'm old enough to remember when there was a pretty big fuss about someone making a heyuri discord server for notifications...
But apparently not old enough to remember that there was a Heyuri dicksword used for chatting from the moment lolico launched the site, up until at least 2021 (or maybe 2022, I forget since I never personally joined it) - which was later made notifications-only. It recently got shut down by dicksword, presumably due to it being associated with the same account as gurochan's - we asked at teh recent townhall if it should be revived, but there was never a "big fuss"
Crossplay/crossdressing in anime/otaku communities has been a thing forever, and so have traps on imageboards - including this one. Sweet Emo (the one posting their pins, one of which included a bisexuality flag and another a gay rainbow) is an enigma and an anomaly that doesn't reflect anyone else on the site... or possibly the planet
There's nothing about Heyuri that says gay stuff isn't allowed - in fact, even tranny pr0n is allowed - we just decided a while back as a community to ban trans-related discussion cuz it's annoying to read users bickering about it non-stop as they do on virtually every other imageboard these days. The ban includes both those calling everyone under the sun a tranny, as well as those who spam "trans rights" everywhere
>And you are not allowed to even so much as lightly tease people since that is "trolling" and against the rules.
Not true - trolling Heyuri as a website or trying to make rule-abiding users leave the site is against the rules, but fun/playful teasing is totally allowed and commonplace. Obviously, if your idea of "lightly tease people" is just calling them "niggerfaggot tranny", then ur post will probably get baleeted
>mostly because im against 4/soc/-style attention whoring
Before 4/soc/, those kinds of threads were a mainstay of 4/b/. They'd gotten out of control over there to the point of needing a containment board, but that's not the case on Heyuri - we only get threads of that nature once in a blue moon, and they're usually fun events

im aware of the historical prevalence. I was just saying i personally am not fond of attention whoring **too much**, and i trust moderation to know if it gets out of hand.
occasional attentionwhore thread in old 4/b/-style can be entertaining and fun. i dont think it should be banned cause it can be fun sometimes, and fun is the whole point of everything.

Trannies aren't trannies because they crossdress, trannies are trannies because they falsely believe crossdressing changes their gender.
As far as I can tell, users haven't been acting as if that's something that can happen (once people realised foor was male, no one acted like the crossdressing made him female, and the new crossdressing guy isn't even pretending to be a girl), so it doesn't seem like there's some sort of tranny invasion.

I think people are worried it’ll turn into that, but considering people are already upset I hope these posts will be a deterrent. I get being worried the site will turn into another “transbian Bridget sewerslvt tehe estrogen :3” circlejerk when everything they join eventually does. I don’t mind yuri/yaoi or lgb stuff to be clear, but anytime the t part joins they overrun everything (there’s a reason 4chans lgbt board is called tttt). But for now you’re right, until people start claiming they’re women because they wear skirts we should be okay.

Hi, i'm that guy
Just to clarify, no, i'm not trans or anything close. I consider myself straight (believe it or not) and i've been a Heyuri regular for a couple of years now.
I understand where this complaint comes from. The last couple of days has seen what could be considered gey-related topics dominating the first page, so you're right in that it's at least a bad look for newcomers.
Longer running users would know that i have only taken to attention whoring in a couple of ocassions, each one months apart of the last, so there's no agenda to push here. The day Heyuri leans too heavily on the LG-TVASDFGS+ stuff i'll whining and moaning to the mods to push back just like you're doing now. Again, sorry

I also think pin thread is the main (and only) problem here. It feels the most "discord-ish", without it the other threads would't feel off at all, but having homo flags (don't homo flags b0rk rule 7?) on page 0 for a couple of days makes Heyuri look like one of those non-fun place full of tumblrites. Maybe mods should just AS it and be done with this silly argument

Are sexuality flags teh st00pid? Yes. Are they B&? No, unless the user is being really obnoxious about it and using it to perform sum kinda lame internet activism. Having a moral panic over a couple of homo flag pins is closer to breaking Rule 7 than the pic in question
Remember that as much as Heyuri is not Tumblr nor Twitter, it is not a Christian site nor /pol/

it's not a moral panic. I dont give a shit about LGBT users being LGBT, but heyuri falling victim into a familiar trap of being some tr**** hangout site. Just like Heyuri was starting to look like a genuin pedo website due to the loli invasion, it's now starting to look like an actually tr**** website due to this invasion. Are you going to be on the wrong side of history a third time or will you look at other similar imageboards overrun by these circlejerking weirdos and learn a lesson early on?
Also your selective enforcement of rule 7 is questionable
Saying the t-word: rule 7
being the t-word and flaunting it on the boards: OMG IM GONNA CUM POST MORE PICS

I get where OP and a few other people in this thread get this idea but there's no need to worry. I wouldn't want heyuri to be like that myself. OP might just be a bit too new to notice that most of the things he mentions (trip/namefags, occasional fag or cross dressing thread) aren't very unusual here, to my knowledge at least...
The backpack pins thread is the only one that's out of the ordinary and sort of a gray area i think.
Note that, at least from what i recall, flags have never been an issue here. But i imagine if they were they'd be categorized under rule 7.
Don't forget this: there are days where /b/ is good, and days where it's worse.
Yet i'm 100% sure heyuri has R7 users, it's not like they or us can do anything. 2025.

I do not wish to be obnoxious. I perhaps am attentionwhoring too much... Mods decide whether I should put limits on amount and type of posts I do. I understand op. I would also note that I am the least gay heyurizen.
Though I think meeting up people from chans was much more common but I also know a chan that was ruined by that kind of people. I have mixed feelings, I will follow the supreme leader and the heyuri peoples council decree.

IRL meetups and gatherings have been commonplace since humans have existed, and they did not slow down with the advent of the internet. Communities that never have some form of IRL meetup are the anomaly here
