...and I mean it.

It makes me really annoyed to see all those Russian shitposters that do nothing but shitpost retarded shit from the 2ch.hk (which is basically a Russian state-owned 4chan). They also bring their vocabulary to the Heyuri, which is wrong and simply stupid (most people here won't understand Russian anyway).

Heyuri used to be an international web-space with unique culture, but now it flooded with Russian shitposts, and it looks more like a 2ch.hk branch lately :sweat3:

https://img.heyuri.net/b/koko.php?res=146192 (please note the word "mocherator", which is basically a 2ch.hk buzzword and certainly violates the Rule 8.C)

https://img.heyuri.net/b/koko.php?res=145902

...etc

I'm pretty sure all those violate the Rule 8.
>>
p.s. to make it clear why it sucks: they already greentexting right here, in the /q/: >>68711, it's insane! Soon the whole board will be flooded with wojacks, coomers, and other shit they adore.
>>
I agree.
>>
bringing stuff from other cultures' internets isn't inherently banned, but we can take action if it's deemed to be excessive
it's one -or maybe two- users doing that anyways

>I'm pretty sure all those violate the Rule 8.
not rly

>>68729
That's another, uninvolved user.
>>
Believe it or not, Heyuri actually has less Russian users and material on it than it used to - see the entire period when kuz and kolyma/"9ch" was involved with it :sweat2:

Anyway, as someone who is not clued up on Russian memes or whatever (and doesn't care to be), I personally think backseat moderators complaining about threads that don't clearly break any of Heyuri's own rules (and frequently metaposting in those threads to do so) is closer to rule-breaking than the threads themselves; especially when nobody except the backseat moderator themselves even recognizes the material being posted to be annoyed by it

Posts that are clearly recognizable as being Rule 8-breaking (wojaks, *oomer phrases, obnoxious "ironic shitposting", etc.) obviously get dealt with the moment they're spotted - so there's no need to worry about any of that stuff ever "flooding" Heyuri. And you can see that even of the threads you linked, one was autosage'd (and the OP recieved a ban in the same thread for posting now-deleted obnoxious TikTok-style garbage)

Heyuri's Off-Topic and Lounge boards allow a wide variety of topics by design - including Russian ones. If any one user or topic begins to dominate a board, it will eventually be dealt with. In fact I already have proposals relating to certain ongoing instances of this for teh next Townhall

Regarding >>68711 - there's nothing wrong with a new user accidentally breaking a rule due to unfamiliarity (like quote function abuse/"greentext", which is actually a newer rule of ours and was once both allowed and commonplace here), being informed about the rule, and then the user apologizing and following it. That's exactly how it should be, rather than staff-san immediately resorting to banhammers and baleetion sticks

Anon, you're WAY more annoying than any of the Russian threads, because everytime anyone makes any sort of post you appear out of nowhere and start shitting yourself about "waaaah waaah  why are there so many Russians waaaaah go back to 2ch.hk it's state-owned 4chan waaah"

Noone cares, dude.
>>
>>68735
Besides, all the AI garbage threads are gay regardless of the nationality of the poster, and this more warrants some basic effort on the moderator's part instead of calling for a wide exodus of all Russian speakers from the platform.

The Univermag thread was funny.

>>68732
> backseat moderators
I'm not a "backseat moderator", I did not beg for any actions - I just shared my feelings in an appropriate place (please note that I haven't done so in the threads I linked).

FYI, the word "mocherator" is a combination of the words "moderator" + "urine", so an English equivalent would be "murinator". It is a Russian buzzword to directly insult moderators, and an instant marker of a soyjak.party-alike user. On many Russian boards (e.g. iichan.hk or 410chan.org) its usage is a 100% guaranteed one-way ticket to a lifetime ban. Are you fine with being compared to urine? It's up to you to decide.

if anyone compared me to urine IRL I would probably slit his throat that instant and then call him a bitch and walk off casually like it was no big deal as everyone around was still in shock

why does it matter if it's state-owned anyway? I wish my country had a national imageboard....

I am hereby, as a Russian myself, petitioning Kaguya to create /ru/ - Heyuri-Russia Cultural Exchange

I expect to at least receive a response from the esteemed administration of this website.

Thank you for your attention!
>>
if japan gets an entire board, so do we. besides, there certainly is more russians than japanese people in Heyuri
>>
>>68778
heyuri dot net is a web site inspired by japanese internet culture. it is an otaku web site. that's why there's a japanese board.
>>
it is only by us russians that you otakus have a site! we were there to help when we came from 9chan, now its time to repay us

Vote: Да
>>
I second that. Kaguya, you ought to know this website was founded by 2 great Russian people (Lolico was a undercover KGB agent pretending to be American), and your former mentor! repay them!

go to:

this filters cyrillic characters

>why does it matter if it's state-owned anyway?
It was once an independent private-owned web-site that resembles today's Heyuri. But it was bought by a state affiliated guy, and then eventually transferred to a state affiliated company.

It serves two main functions now:
1. as a honeypot (basically everything in Russia is illegal - e.g. a post with a hentai image attached to it can send you to jail)
2. to spread Russian propaganda among the internet "nerds"

So naturally all original user-base is lost, and now it is populated by ignorant pro-Putin shitposters.

Modern 2ch.hk is about shitposting AI bullshit, TikToks, politics, wojacks & pepe, zoomers/boomers/coomers, buzzwords like "based/cringe" or "cope", greentext stories, and just about everything spiced with a huge dose of Putin's propaganda.

So basically it is full of crap. Ironically all those things are banned here (Rules 6, 7, and 8).

These so-called "sosachers" don't respect anyone's culture. They act basically like locusts, migrating from one board to another, shitposting on every board they can.

I'm surprised that you're supporting that kind of thing here on Heyuri.
>>
>>68788
but they haven't done any harm, have they? what heyurizens do outside of heyuri is none of our business
>>
>but they haven't done any harm, have they?
They did. Luckily some of their annoying shitposts were deleted

What kind of nonsense is this? Dvach isn't government owned, and wasn't sold to mail.ru - in fact during start of SVO abu was shitting on it

im not russian, but i can empathize with OP, i would hate to see AIDS in my language. idk abt putin ill leave that to smart politics ppl
>>
since you wont make a board, im making a thread on lounge
>>
>smart politics ppl
Smart and politics don't go together :sweat2:
>>
>Dvach isn't government owned, and wasn't sold to mail.ru
You're right, it wasn't sold - it was taken, just like VK was. Now both are controlled by a state affiliated company. The company is in tight cooperation with the government institutions like the Federal Security Service and Russian police. They use 2ch.hk to study and control public opinion.

That's the only reason why it exists while little-known safe-for-work boards like iichan.hk are blocked in Russia by Roskomnadzor. IIchan admins were trying hard to respect every absurd Russian law for the past 13 years, but it didn't help. They were trying hard to stay away from politics, pr0n, hentai (or even any light erotics), lolis, and just about everything "edgy". Pathetic.

So much irony in that you're trying to put me to shame on a board that is blocked in Russia, just like about 80% of the global web. Of course I'm proud to be a Russian, and I fully support Vladimir Putin. I'm very pleased to be isolated from the rest of the world. I also truly believe that no fun should be allowed during the S.V.O., so we'll annoy everyone with our propaganda as long as we can. Are you satisfied now, comrade? Now go fuck yourself, you fucking KGB scum.
