I'm not against a board like /bl/ since it would be distinct enough from the rest, but I don't think there is a considerable fujo & ghey population on Heyuri right now, or at least a visible one

I liek the idea of growing Heyuri's fujoshi demographic, though I'm also not sure how much activity a dedicated board would get. There are existing websites that cater to fujos, but I dunno if they allow shota or some of the other "acquired tastes" that Heyuri allows

If we do happen to have a sizable fujo demographic already, my guess is that they hold back from posting BL on Heyuri since they don't want to draw ire from the non-fujo users. I don't think they should worry about that since any otaku interests are welcomed and protected on Heyuri, but I can understand the viewpoint - I personally have found myself holding back from posting otokonoko material since I know it's not for everyone and I don't want to be annoying

i dont talk about bl because im simply not into it. ( ´ω` ) its possible to be female otaku without being obsessed with gay guys, maybe other posters are similar, fujoshi can go to a number of places to talk yaoi.

I'd love to see more fujoshis on Heyuri (especially if they post shota BL plz ).

The only one I know of is Fujochan, which bans shota. I don't know of any others. Assuming most other fujo sites follow suit, were there to be a yaoi board that freely allows shota, that could be a decent incentive for new users. But you know what they say about assuming.

It seems to me that fu○○an effectively bans pr0nz, or they refrain from posting it and focus more on talking. I envision a fujoshi board on Heyuri would be more focused on ero and general image sharing in comparison, but I believe what Western sites are doing shouldn't affect Heyuri's decisions in the first place

This makes sense, but it also means we have no way to reliably measure teh desire for a dedicated board. Maybe this topic could be brought up during the next townhall
But then it would be before we have a chance to grow a fujoshi userbase. I agree it would be nice to have such a demographic, but I'm too clueless about growing it

This would fail for 2 reasons:
1- noone refrains from posting yuri on existing boards, it's mainly a male otaku interest
2- yuri fans wouldn't enjoy scrolling through PENIS-in-male-ANUS threads until they find their tribadism thread, and likely vice versa

I assume they just meant male homosex, since /y/ is 4chan's yaoi board (/u/ being the yuri board). Incidentally, they ban shota over there as well, but then it's allowed on their /b/

I agree that we shouldn't try to have a yaoi+yuri board though - that would please nobody

I did sum research. They do allow pr0n on their BL board, but it's rarely posted. On the other hand, they have a dedicated board for "fetishes and kinks that are widely considered to be "extreme". That includes abuse, guro, bondage, etc."
