How come my post in this thread, (the one about fried pizza) keeps disappearing? I can't think of any rule I'm breaking. Is it because the image was posted recently? I cropped it slightly so it would be different--and anyway, you usually get a warning for that before you post.

the post with the fried pizza image (which for the record was my post) was made very recently, so then seeing that same phrase + image feels forced.

you can't upload teh same image if it's already up on that board for a reason, aside from preventing duplication it keeps the content fresh. Trying to get around it by very slightly cropping the image is lame (;´Д`)


and making the same post right after it gets deleted isn't a good idea, BTW.

I didn't see it, but it doesn't sound grounds for a ban/mute...

Different users reposting an image and phrase previously seen on teh board in different contexts is how something turns into an meme (a "forced meme" is when it's just 1 user or an off-site group pushing it), and u could be killing it prematurely by acting liek every post here needs to be 100% unique/oc-donut-steel sweat2

I guess I see where your coming from, but on the other hand, don't jokes sometimes improve from being repeated in different contexts? That's the rationale behind any running gag. The same joke repeated in different contexts. Each new context adds something to the joke, and sometimes it can build to absurd hilarity. Someone could have easily replied to my post in a way that ingeniously built on it.
