Besides, there is no point in discussing the reason the site gets slow - it's usually because old users become too lazy to post in a faster rate than we get fresh users who will contribute.

if it's "slow" that's a good sign and just how you want it. if you share the site make sure you share it with the right people and not anyone that uses "core" on a regular basis, knows less than 50 anime etc.

Shut up, I got it from an rpgcodex thread, I don't use google. How about switching to a linux distribution using only free software and a proprietary-free browser first before accusing me of being mainstream?

just a blind guess... maybe the slow-down is the fault of cloudflare? It's very unlikely a problem with koko. And since the effects of teh slowdown aren't experienced by everyone at once it might line up with nodes in the CDN messing up ur posts somehow...

Has anyone experienced slowdown on Off-Topic in the last 7 hours?
I disabled the last thing on the server that could have been causing it 7 hours ago, and if it's persisting despite that, I confirm it's not an issue (or at least not a solvable one?) on the server's end sweat2

I'm not convinced. It only seemed to occur on teh main site's Kokonotsuba boards, and not Strange World, the CGI site, etc., which all use the same Cloudflare setup as far as I'm aware unsure

Kagy here, we are actually rate-limiting the speeds of countries that are hostile to the interests of my beloved Turkiye. Consider using a azerbaijani/turkiye vpn to enjoy best speeds. The more anti-turkiye your country is, the slower.
