Hi there. My name is Amlux and I am a Heyuri user (sometimes under this trip but usually anonymously).

This is my website:

It is full of a lot of things and the majority of them are relevant to Heyuri culture in one way or another. Many parts of the site are related to Japanese media (including otaku media and internet culture) and its cultural/philosophical context, but in a way that aims to be fun and creative rather than stodgy. Some content touches on SRS BUSINESS in the world today, but I aim to keep the tone of the site fun and refreshing.

In the future, I intend to do develop even more to make this site more of a community. I'll avoid committing to that looking like anything in particular right now (BBS? Stream and chat? Video sharing? We'll see.) But when it comes to an imageboard, I will always recommend users to simply use Heyuri instead of trying to create an imageboard of my own, as there is no other place to be!

Whether my site seems to be appropriate to link or not, I look forward to continuing to be a part of Heyuri's community and culture.

Also, a quick question: Would I have to manually submit this banner after being approved here or would a mod automatically add it to the banner rotation after linking?

You are an interesting person. Though I am curious, what you hope to gain by expounding upon every thought and opinion you have. You must know that many of your opinions are seen as repugnant by the masses, no matter how thoroughly explained they are. People do not even give the time of day to someone like you. They'll take one look at your site and turn tail. I didn't, and most people here won't, but society at large totally rejects it as crazy.

Does that bother you? I had my own opinions, and I used to have a blog where I talked about them, but people like us stand 0 chance of changing society. Really, at some point, voicing heretical opinions just becomes a liability. My generation seemed like it was going to accept the libertine philosophy, but social media culture must have changed that, and now the new generation is downright puritanical.
Cool site though.

(I must state, both for legal reasons, but also with honesty that I do not agree with all of OPs conclusions)

also adding to this, simply being able to write down your thoughts helps "ground" you, to give some measure of, if not certainty, understanding of yourself. At least, that's how i feel whenever i go on a rant on /lounge/ (´･ω･`)
