is commenting possible on the uploader? ive been listening to music, and uploading some of my own, but theres not really a way to interact with uploads aside from maybe posting on /b/. commenting would probably encourage more oc, at least for music

The uploader is not really meant for socializing - it's just a tool to upload files. It facilitates file sharing in places that don't have built-in upload functions, don't support certain file formats, and don't support large file sizes

Adding a reply function would expand it's scope too much and significantly increase the amount of moderation required. It's better to make a post on the appropriate area of the site and paste uploader links instead (which is how it's meant to be used)

just make a thread about a song you like, there arent that many people uploading music, the uploader will probably see your thread. :biggrin:

the easiest way to talk about uploader stuff (or any topic) remains /sw/ if for whatever reason you don't think it merits a thread on /b/ or /lounge/
