Does anyone have advice on how to get used to these cheap drawing tablets with no screen? I've had it for over a year and while i could just draw with mouse my wrist hurts more than when I do it traditionally so I think it'd be beneficial to get used to the tablet, of course I've used it like 5 times at most before getting bored of trying to practice

maybe try drawing basic shapes like cubes and cones that you can draw well on paper to get used to it

I faced the same hurdle when I got my first tablet. One thing that helped me get motivation to keep practicing with the tablet was hopping on an art software and try out random brushes that I piqued my interest.

what tabelet model are you using and size? small size tablets limit your arm rotations limiting yourself to using your wrist when you should be using your entire arm to draw.

Im using a inspiroy h641p i think, its small, it's not that bad but i feel like no matter how i try to trace the lines they just don't come out well digitally

it could be the program itself

I did try to adjusted the settings and stuff on it and it seems to be getting better but i guess I still have to train my arm, I tried taping some paper on it and its much better but it probably wears out the nib so I'll do it less
