christmas is a busy time of year for me because i have to stop what im doing and do a lot of stuff and many of my projects are held off until newyears because of all the social stuff i have to do. ( ´･ω･` )

i actually quite like christmas!! it's my favorite time of year because of all the snow and gifts and such and also i have an excuse to ignore everything and everywan

gift giving gives me a lot of anxiety because i don't know what to get anybody and i worry that they won't like what i get them or they already have it. i don't like receiving gifts either because i buy everything i want myself anyway so unless somebody buys me something that i can't afford they're probably not going to get me something i like that i don't already have. i especially hate receiving gifts from my parents because they're really bad at choosing gifts for me. they give me stuff that i actively dislike constantly. one year they got me a naruto wallet although i've never liked naruto and i had just bought a $150 wallet from a japanese brand. one year they got me a coffee grinder and coffee beans although i don't drink coffee. one year they got me a BOXED VERSION OF SUSE LINUX. i have nothing but anxiety for christmas because i have to pretend to like a bunch of stuff that i don't want. i just wish gift giving wasn't a thing or people just respected my desire to opt out of it completely. i otherwise do enjoy christmas festivities i just wish gift giving wasn't a part of it.
