I don't need to buy books, because the bookshop is already the best reading enviroment for me! I don't mind standing up, and a lot of them even have sofas and cafes attached. If I actually bought the book, it would just collect dust at home.

The library is better in a lot of cases. Some bookstores don't like it when you loiter and cheat them out of money, but you won't get looks like that in a library.

I love the feel of a physical book, but there's too much out there to not be using sites like annas. Though you can get most books you would be interested in through a library if it's decent enough to have an inter-library loan system or something like that. You just have to be patient. Support your local libraries, they always need it.

i used to read paper books often, but since i discovered that there are lots of people on youtube who make book readings for content ive stopped entirely. theres something nice about the sound of a mature man reading to you that makes me forget even about the joys of sitting with a paperback book in a secluded place.
