Do you prefer games or anime? I feel like I generally prefer games, yet somehow I don't think of myself as a big gamer?

I think when I play games, I'm totally immersed in that world, and not really thinking of it like "content", but when I'm watching anime, I get attached to the characters instead. Somehow being able to date a character in a game can't compare to getting attached to them in anime, but I think I spend more time on games than anime.

Then again, maybe me not getting attached to game characters is because I'm more likely to ship a character than want to date them myself lol

I mean, I'm not good at games, but I still enjoy playing them lmao

I don't usually play them with the intention to beat them, and lots of times I have save files at my favorite parts, or will stop the game entirely when I get to my favorite part, only to later restart the game, goof around in the easy areas, eventually get to my favorite part, quit, ad infinitum lol

If it's just me then I prefer to play games, but online I'd rather watch anime with others than play a multiplayer game
>>
half a year i play more games half a year i watch more anime
>>
gotta love both equally!
>>
play pokemon channel and you can do both at the same time lol
>>
I play games mostly, I've fell out of interest of watching anime but I do still watch it, however only as a social activity with friends.
Recently I watched Neon Genesis Evangelion and the end of Evangelion. It's questionable, to put it brief.
For games I play them both alone and with many friends and family.

i watch old anime and play old games almost exclusively now. ( ´_ゝ`)

i'm kind of bad at games so i don't play them a lot, which only makes me worse at them  the exception is rhythm games, but they require leaving my room to play at the arcade, so i don't do that much either

on the other hand, i watch a lot of anime because i can pretend like the characters are my friends and imagine myself as a kawaii schoolgirl going on moe adventures instead of an amerikajin shut-in. when i put it that way, it's kind of pathetic desune...

Bad at games? What kind of games do you play?
There's multiple meanings to being bad at games.
If you play an older kind of game which is very trial and error then losing will happen a lot.
If you play one of those modern pvp games with Matchmaking then you will always be 50/50 good or bad.

I love both, but games are just a little better. Most anime somehow revolves around a story, and I tend to get confused or have trouble following stories more with anime or movies for some reason. And games can be fun even without cute girls (though they certainly help!), but anime without cute girls is almost inconceivable.

The most superior medium is visual novels.

like i said, i don't play them a lot. the most recent one i played was toohoo 6, i managed to unlock the extra stage but couldn't beat it. i know i could get better at it if i just kept throwing myself at it, but i don't really find that enjoyable. i'd rather watch anime instead
