I found vidli from a youtube video, and while I was disappointed in it (it was simply being used for less "censorship"), I ended up finding a comment mentioning heyuri.

I found a screenshot of it on reddit while looking for another 4chan post and got curious

Someone posted the link on 4chon.net and it was the first imageboard I've seen spammed there that wasn't complete dogshit/even more dead than the chon is

Almost 7 years ago in early 2020 (Late January-Early February) I stumbled upon it after it was being advertised on 4chan. At the time it had barely a hundred or so posts (people were celebrating dubs as GETs), and no culture or anything interesting to speak of. But I stuck around and am still here

on 4chan (probably /trash/) -> someone mentions wiby.me -> search billy mays on wiby.me -> find the billy mays page on lolwut.info -> find vidlii -> top video at the time was a heyuri ad

This is one of the rare places with an active /f/ board. Found out about it on a 4chan archive site where anons were discussing alternatives after 4chan's /f/ got b0rked
