I'm a NEET currently and i also used to work

it feels nice not having to do anything but also quite boring at the same time

Why are you acting like not having a job means you gotta spend all your time staring at a wall.
You got a computer with internet and unlimited time, you can literally learn any intellectual endeavour.
You can also go outside to take a walk or go to the beach or something. You probably don't have much money if you're a neet, but you can easily pay for train tickets by just spending one dollar less on food.
There's no way any of that is more boring than having a job.

If somebody is long-term NEET, it usually means they're not able to do the things that result in a productive, fulfilling life

NEET since winter 2015 here. I've been getting a little stir crazy lately and have considered getting a job just because I'm bored. Also, my rent is comparatively low (still paying 2015 level rent) so the higher minimum wage now means I could accumulate mad stacks quickly. Could probably have enough to go to Japan after just 6 months or so...

The more I think about it, the more worth it it seems. 10 years of rotting punctuated by 6 months of labor isn't really that much of a difference in the long run.

I'm starting to become convinced there is in fact such a thing as natural slave if the only way to entertain themselves a significant number of people can imagine is being forced to do some meaningless task for 8 hours a day instead of literally anything else.
