The most awkward part of the game is that even if you're playing a format from before the game sped up to the state it is now, you still basically have to play with someone at your own deck's powerlevel.
Metafagging in a solved format can be fun as a hyper-autistic chess game, but if you just wanna explore the cards on their own terms you're going to be miserable playing against some perfectly optimized deck folded over 10,000 times. Edison for instance can turn into either getting AIDS from Blackwings using a Virus card to rip your entire or Herpes from Frogs stalling you while milling their entire deck every turn.
Also ruling autism, but I think that's kind of a charm point. I've been told once I look Jewish before.
