It's the undeniable truth that most if not all non-Heyuri Western bulletin boards simply suck, but turning into an angry fag at their sight doesn't help Heyuri's case either

Heyuri got started as a way for underageb& to roleplay being the 2007 /b/tards they never got to /b/e because they were 3 years old at the time. We're all the same.

it was banning certain new stuff, but any "roleplay" was limited to a time period of 1-2 weeks that happened with Macrochan's owner-san visiting us, and a huge torrent of old 4chan stuff being released on 4/t/ at the time.

besides that, it was always simply a creative space, which makes some people associate it with the last creative space they've seen (calling it "old internet" or "2006 /b/"). It's a defeatist approach assuming creativity can't exist in 2020 2026
