I have a list of ~400 imageboards/textboards from some old pastebin i found on TC maybe methinks. I wish it was possible to have the dates of their creation and closure so i could calculate the average imageboard lifetime length. From my own experience it's usually 1-2 months and posts never getting into quadruple digits (unless the board gets raided).

Kissu developed its userbase as a refuge for all the original /qa/ posters to go to once that board was filled with soyjak faggots. The Sharty developed its userbase as a refuge for all the soyjak faggots to go once /qa/ was closed.
The only real exception to that rule is Heyuri which wasn't created because Lolico wanted to be some faggot internet celebrity who owned a big imageboard (at least no initially) but because once Kuz found it, his following from other sites populated Heyuri and gave it a purpose as a site that does cool shit.
